I wanted to get in a picture of Mellodee before the end of the month, and since the end of February comes much sooner than other months, I figured I'd better do it now! Here she is in a loose, cartoony style most likely inspired by the Looney Tunes shorts of the 1950s.

She's a bit different from my other characters... guileless, optimistic, innocent, and kind of clingy. In other words, she's more like a real child than the precocious Byron and Elle. Hey, if most of the characters in my universe are gonna wear diapers, one of them might as well act the part.

DESCRIPTION: Mellodee LaBelle, an American black bear toddler roughly twenty months of age, stands in place with a smile on her face and her hands tucked behind her back. She's wearing a bright yellow dress with a note printed on the front and a diaper bulging out from the hem. Her ears are decorated with pearl earrings, and her hair is done in a trio of dark braids. Mellodee's fur is a chocolate brown with brown-beige highlights on the muzzle and inside the ears.
