This is a sketch where I used a National Geographic magazine photo as reference...The reference photo was that well known photo back in the day of a genet who had a bird in it's mouth that it had hunted and killed. The genet in the National Geographic photo was looking face to face close at the camera with the bird still in mouth at the time that photo was taken. What I have here was not a trace or a copy.
My character, Jabari Genet, was created in late 1994 using the sketch in the above posting as a guide.
Jabari is the genet on the right. Both characters are of my own creation.
