These are some sketches I drew shortly before beginning the first page of the squirrely squirrels comic. You can see my first attempt at designing the birds and some design sketches for some characters to show up a little later (sneak peak if you will). The toddler squirrel on the top right corner became the basis for my new character Jonah the chipmunk.
