Ship of Sorrows
There are three panels with both Chucky and Gwendolyn sitting across from each other. In the second and third, I've omitted the foreground table legs so you can see more of their bodies. It's a stylistic thing, do you guys like it or is it distracting? I prefer seeing the characters. It's the same reason Gwendolyn's hat is transparent when she points her head down.

Personally I like it. I'd rather see the characters and their body language and facial expressions.

Honestly I like it and in my head the table was perhaps semi attached to the wall instead of having the front legs, sort of like the 'floating' shelves that don't use traditional brackets/supports, so for me it's all good

Isn't Chucky such an intelligent boy!   ^^
That's a chance, confronting a witch with 900 years of experience with a totally immature brat would have certainly shortened the story, ha ha

You're right. Had Chucky been an immature little shit, this would have been a short comic. Gwendolyn would have extracted his sperm and sent him home as soon as she could.

I didn't even notice the table legs or transparent hat til after I read the description, so no not distracting.

Nah Charles, Gwen, basically this is a "Dinner Date" so don't worry about it. And it's like having dessert before dinner... Informal yes, but nothing bad about it! 😉

I hate to admit, but I didn't even notice.  Too enthralled with the characters and their interactions.
In all honesty, I would prefer the opposite, that the legs were present.  Now that my attention has been called to it, I do find it distracting.  Regardless, I'll continue to love this comic.

LOL, sorry man. It's a stylistic thing I've been messing with.

Nah, don't be sorry, Chucky!  Experimentation is a wonderful thing!

I'm curious about something.
In all the pages you put white tape over the corners of the panels.
Why is that. Is there some hidden meaning we're not seeing or just a stylish touch
to make the design and look yours. Either way is ok I was just wondering why the corners
bothered you so much you had to get rid of them. :D

As far as the legs of the tables it's ok with me either way. If there was some footsie play going on
I can see it but just for the sake of seeing their whole body it's not a big deal when I'm reading the story
and watching their facial expressions and body language like some others here are doing.

Regardless this is still one of the best comics on IB so just keep do'n what you're do'n! And stay safe! :D

It doesn't mean anything. Totally a stylistic thing that I may have seen elsewhere and went with it, I don't remember. Either way I just stuck with it. I hope it's not distracting.

Not distracting at all. Just something else that makes your comic so unique.
I'm gonna keep an eye open now to see if I see anyone else doing it. :D

Yup. This. For all its lighthearted sexytimes, this comic can go to some dark places sometimes too.

I like the transparent table and hat, it just works for me. Hardly noticed it until you said; "invisible" indeed.

I mean ngl usually date night is having fun then going out to eat because after you eat you're usually too full and gross/bloated for fun XD
