Gwendolyn's use of the term 'time dilation' isn't exactly correct, but the context isn't far off when you think about it. The Theory of Relativity doesn't yet exist in their world, so obviously it has nothing to do with traveling at the speed of light. The similarity is the seemingly rapid aging of everyone around her.

AHh I love her so much. I think she makes a better mom then she gives herself credit for, she would probobly think herself a great mom otherwise ;3

Or as the Chinese proverb goes,

So, between 902 and 903, Gwendolyn would perceive that year as one-nine-hundredth of her entire life. For the 33-year-old, that would be the equivalent of a little over 12 days and for the 63-year-old, that would be a little over 24 and a quarter days. Compared to a year as perceived by both age groups, that's fleeting.

I know the feeling. When I was a kid a year felt like an eternity... now I feel like I filled my taxes a week ago and I have to do it again!

Wow I finally found the time to catch up on Chucky!

Amazing work and love it as always!

But I wonder....how much of Gwyn did she give Chucky in their intimate relationships.
He might not be a witch in full but is there a chance that he's different in more ways than the obvious having met her?

He's changed a bit. Of course there's the simple fact that he lost his virginity to an older female, and it was quite the intimate experience. Not just wham bam, but very intimate. But she's connected him to her world a bit, he'll look at things differently.

As one of the older Gen-X, I can relate with Gwen. Hours and days appear to pass as one expects, but months and years just fly by... and frankly I find it uncomfortable...

But it's interesting to learn more about Gwen and Charles alike. She may not think so, but Gwen has been really nurturing towards Chuck from the start.

Yep. I'm on the younger side of Gen-X, but it's been much more noticeable in the last 10 years or so. It seems to happen once half your age is still considered adulthood.
