This time last year, everyone was so optimistic that 2020 was going to be a great and excellent year.
Exactly a year ago to this very day, there was journal after journal bidding good riddance to 2019.
However, not far into 2020, most folks soon began feeling like we should call 2019 "the good old days".
Here's hoping this world won't get any crazier in 2021, and that the trend of "good to bad" and "bad to worse" will turn face about 180 degree and head back the other way...Heaven knows the year 2020 was bad enough. Picturing how a year could possibly be worse is enough to make one cringe and shudder.
However, the only way we have of knowing if 2021 will be smooth sailing or rough seas is once the year has been around a while, and then we all will see how that year goes.
So cross your fingers for 2021. And let's everyone still have a Happy New Year.
Regardless how 2021 turns out later, we can always deal with it then, whether it goes for good or bad.
