Jeso the artificial anthro
The advent of cloning was a rather interesting and remarkable phenomena that had been at the disposal of mortal-kind for centuries in Genova. However, it should be noted that the means have changed drastically over time. From the waning of the days of magic, it was the art of science that saw to a sort of revival in arts deemed lost to the ages. To this end, in the hidden laboratories of a little known Laus research facility, a head scientists of the scientific research staff went rogue, and stole quite a bit of equipment for his own ends. He had at his disposal the means with which he could develop a highly devoted following to follow his agenda.
Unfortunately, the scientist himself was eliminated quite quickly, and his plans effectively taken over by a select group operating under their own interests. This mysterious new group with their own staffing of scientists managed to, with a myriad of samples considered “the most diverse and advantageous of genetic material,” managed to form three select squads of clones to perform their bidding. They did not count on one clone in particular breaking his bonds to his masters and operating under his own accord.
Jeso, as he took to calling himself, loved the fight. He loved the blare of bullets and the blood seeping from his unfortunate victims as he robbed them of life. To see his knife plunging into the heart of another, so that he may feel the blood trickle between his fingers as he withdrew it, was touch of joy to his blackened heart. He was in practically all aspects a polar opposite to the one he owed credit to his genetic material; Ichigo Usagi. Violent and cunning, cruel and vindictive, and undoubtedly as ruthless as grossly apathetic. He saw his wants and needs greater than his masters, and after managing to acquire his own freedom, decided to explore the vices that this world had to offer.
Physically, he was deemed “superior” to Ichigo. Educated through the unique and experimental “accelerated mental capacity developmental enhancement program,” his mental aptitude is fairly high for a fast-grown clone. Coupled with this is his boosted strength and condensed musculature, making him an able bodied opponent in any melee battle. Bootcamp was what set precedent for guns and explosives training, as well as what would be deemed normal combat parameters. He quickly became known for his unpredictably gruesome successes in the ways of combat, from snapping an opponents neck to smashing in an opponents skull. No attack or assault was deemed too low or distasteful for him, so long as it meant victory in the way of survival.
He was among the most dangerous of the squads, fitting a “floater” role. Floater roles were noted as being the most flexible but demanding of roles, alternating between retrieval to search and destroy to select elimination, assault, and assassination. After a great many missions, his mental focus began to deviate away from mission parameters and blind devotion, to himself and his interests. At the back of his mind, he dreams of a world in which the rules of survival of the fittest are applicable in the greatest sense of the word.
It is unknown how he sustainably equips himself, more than likely coveting that which he can loot and steal. It is theorized his primary means of occupational work is as a mercenary, selling his services to the highest bidder in shadier circumstances. Of note is his uniform, loosely resembling that of Kenneth Lenard's, more than likely being a stolen and slightly modified Siennan Government Issue Special Forces uniform, with underlying body armor.
Having infiltrated a little known research facility, Jeso didn't even bother stepping off the service elevator. Crouched behind and concealed by the nearby railing, the guard on duty couldn't help but quirk a brow, finding the elevator empty. Walking over for a closer look, Jeso tensed, readying for his ambush. In a flash, Jeso lunged out from behind the railing. His knife plunged through the soft-spot in the guards armor from the shoulder at an angle, then at the upper region of the chest. The last thing he could see was Jesos gleaming face as he hit the ground with a clatter. Jeso would only offer a passing glance over his surroundings, looking for anyone else he might have to dispatch. Looked to be a loading bay of some sort, what with the orange-top dock loader, storage crates, and warehouse setting. Seemed promising enough, though. And judging by the slightly better equipped guard he dispatched, likely housed useful data and other bounties of interest.
Forward: The background was a bit spartan this time, but I didn't really have anything overly extravagant in mind. Just a warehouse sort of setting. Had to kill the quality to upload it, unfortunately.. Only DA seemed to accept the original.
