The Jaybird
Janus Payne, otherwise known as “The Jaybird,” glances across the cement courtyard of his usual stomping grounds, Milwest Highschool. A loner by heart, Janus has come to pass himself off as a rebellious sort. He shirks the responsibilities of what is expected of any teenager his age, and has little regard for the rules and social standards in place. But like a decent number of greasers and defiant youths, he follows a suave code of honor of sorts that distinguishes him from the other delinquents. Making all manner of easy jokes and cracking wise in the classroom, he can be seen putting his machine-tech skills to use in the work shop during and after school, specializing in motorcycle repair work. His grades surprisingly come off as satisfactory, which is surprise enough for faculty from what little effort he puts into any school work to come his way. Always itching for the next fight, and looking to impress the next girl, Janus lives life to the fullest as though each day might be his last.
Propped up beside him is a restored and modified Revver 6 from the war, proudly displayed as his primary mode of transportation.
Personal note: I had never really gotten around to establish a serious avian variety of character before, so this is really a first. Just another character that may or may not play a significant role in one of my comic stories. If I get around to establishing any of them, that is.
