TRUST AND SAFETY
JUST TWO WEEKS
An actual study on the efficacy of masks:
https://www.acpjournals.org/doi/10.7326/M20-6817

Notice how even when they're shown not very effective, they're still recommended anyway "just in case"

It is also posted with a soundtrack.

Oh, where to begin...

I'm going to skip the supposed statistics because they fall apart with the smallest amount of research. The first point about China is irrelevant, because air quality has nothing to do with the spread of diseases. By that logic, India should have record high cases , yet America is outdoing India in spades in both terms of cases and deaths.  Also, the point of the risk of catching COVID being "not much higher than the seasonal flu is dumb, because even a 10% increase is a HUGE increase for any disease.

Also, masks don't work? What do you expect them to do? Stop you from getting it? Like literally everyone except for anti-maskers say they're not supposed to do? They stop you from spreading it, not catching it. The lie that they're made to stop you from catching it is spread by anti-maskers who then use that as an excuse to not wear a mask.

And no, you don't need a hospital grade washing machine for a cloth mask. Just stop being lazy and properly wash it. Also, restrict your breathing? Do you have severe asthma or something? Because people with severe asthma don't even have problems with masks. Quit complaining that you can't breathe or that it's weakening your immune system. You'd wear it for at most 15 minutes while you're out.

And lastly, shut up about rights. It doesn't cost anything to be a decent human being. So be a decent human being.

I debated with myself whether you were a troll or not. But now, I don't care. For every troll pedaling this shit, there's at least a hundred inbreds who believe it, so this is for them.

Even if you believe the most pessimistic statistics on Google, you still get a 94% recovery rate and it's nowhere near the surefire death plague it's being hyped up as. Plus it's pretty widely known that the death statistics are intentionally padded out to make the disease seem scarier than it is.

And even based on the WHO and CDC, I'm pretty close to their official estimations.
https://jordanschachtel.substack.com/p/global-data-covi...
Take their numbers at face value if you want, but that places us at 99.75% recovery rate instead of 99.97% recovery rate, which both mean either way that it's a ridiculously easy disease to recover from.

Yes it does. More polluted air means less oxygen absorption means weakened immune system. It's very meaningful, especially with China being the disease's origin point.

India doesn't add deaths by auto accident and heart attack to the "Covid death total" if someone dies and is found afterward to test positive for Covid 19 even if that wasn't the cause of death.

Not the risk of catching, the risk of death. The flu is a lot better at transmitting. And you're really not doing a good job weighing its relative threat level with the other, already widely accepted dangers of just living in general, such as being in a motor vehicular accident.

Panel ten, I literally go over the fact that they're supposed to prevent you from spreading, not prevent you from catching. And no, a basic cloth mask isn't going to stop you from spreading as it's too porous. And no, if you have no symptoms you won't be spreading anyway:

"Properly wash it" in this case means sanitizing it in hospital conditions or buying a new sanitary one and throwing out the old one. Regular cloth mask won't work in the first place.

Even according to the biased World Health Organization.

Yes they do. In fact, my sister is diagnosed with severe asthma and her doctor has given her a written note saying she cannot wear a mask but people like you would scream and spit at her all the same when you saw her out in public without one; I don't know where you get this ridiculous idea that it's okay to insult people with a medical condition preventing mask use, which I actively and specifically called out as bad behavior here.

1) That's a long time to operate on restricted breathing (which yes, both cloth masks and functioning medical grade masks both do)
2) A lot of shopping trips and meals take a lot longer than 15 minutes
3) Taking away my other rights like bodily autonomy, self defense, life, ownership, or the like for 15 minutes would be absolutely catastrophic; in principle, it doesn't matter if it was a length of 15 minutes or 1500 years. Speaking of which
4) Remember when all these policies were first pushed onto us back in March? We were told it was "15 day to slow the spread" and yet the economy is still shutdown, many people (myself included) are still on unemployment, and loads of people have died of things other than Chinese Communist Coronavirus 2019. Including all the people actually dying of other coronavirus strains like the seasonal flu who are instead being counted as Covid 19 deaths.

I'm just leaving these two lines next to each other to show any third-party onlookers what a hypocrite you are within this single paragraph.

Nice ad hominem attack there.

And yeah, in closing, masks don't work.

You know the saying about those who live in glass houses?

They make their shortcomings transparent.
