Sleep and food were certainly important for Cream's growth, but there was also the factor of making sure she was staying active. Fortunately, that wasn't difficult. Before Cream met her friends, Vanilla would make sure Cream would always exercise and spend at least 60 minutes a day doing physical activity. Running, jumping, even flying with her ears was something Cream really enjoyed doing.

But Vanilla still had some specific ideas as to what Cream could do to help herself. So from an early age, she taught Cream to always spend a good amount of time stretching every morning, and she found a bar that she could hang from and taught her to hang for 10 minutes each day to help her body stretch and grow taller. Then when Cream turned 6 and she met her friends, like the spunky Amy Rose, the ever rambunctious Charmy Bee, and the bright, charming young boy Miles "Tails" Prower, Cream found herself staying active in other ways...like helping to save the world.

Cream's size actually came in handy then, as her strength and speed allowed everyone to count on her no matter what the task. And even at such a young age, feeling like a hero did wonders for her self-confidence, and caused Cream's own desire to grow become that much stronger. So she made sure to keep up her daily routine, always being careful not to do any weight lifting if she could help it, as Vanilla told her that it could stunt her growth. She didn't want that.

But it wasn't always strict. After all, being active shouldn't feel like a chore. Cream would regularly have time to play games like tag or hide and seek with her friends. It wasn't easy for her to be the hider, with how big she was, but she did love to seek, and since all of her normal-sized friends were all much smaller than her, she had to get creative and really look everywhere to find them. Vanilla herself was content to sit on the swing and watch her dear daughter have fun, happily observing as she seemed to grow right before her eyes. Cream was now twice her size, and it was obvious that her growth was speeding up again. Vanilla was so happy for her.

So she watched quietly, acting as a hiding place for Cheese, Cream's pet chao, as her young daughter looked around for her friends. Vanilla was all too happy to spend the time out here...after all, little girls need play to grow.
