There was no doubt that Vanilla's regimen for her daughter was effective. As days turned into weeks, Cream's growth continued to accelerate. It soon reached a point where the young girl seemed to be growing bigger right before her very eyes, and Cream was loving every minute of it. The combination of sleep, food and physical activity had caused Cream to get so big, her mother was practically doll-sized to her.

Still, she never lost an ounce of respect for the woman, treating her with all the reverence that she was due. Without Vanilla, Cream would undoubtedly be an ordinary girl. Perhaps even, perish the thought, below average size for her age. Cream couldn't imagine having anyone other than Vanilla caring for her, helping her to reach her full potential, whatever that ultimately turned out to be, considering she was growing at an increasingly remarkable rate.

Each day they measured now, sometimes twice a day even, and every single time the mark was higher than the last one, without fail. It became routine for Cream to find herself larger than the last time, and it never failed to fill her with glee. It drove her to follow the routine Vanilla set out for her almost religiously, just to make sure her growth never had a chance to slow down.

But there was one other major factor that was key in contributing to Cream's phenomenal growth. Something that couldn't be measured by any tangible means. It was the sheer amount of love and affection that Vanilla had for her daughter.

Science has proven beyond a doubt that kids who are neglected, or even deprived of things as simple as hugs, actually have their growth stunted due to a lack of necessary hormones in the body. The particular hormone in question was known as oxytocin...otherwise known as the love hormone. When oxytocin levels in the blood are increased, so are several other hormones that are essential for promoting healthy growth in kids.

Cream was given ample amounts of hugs and snuggles, regardless of her ever-increasing size. So as another day goes by, and Cream is preparing to get ready for bed for another night of growing, she and her mother share yet another loving embrace, with Vanilla offering words of encouragement, expressing her strong pride in her daughter...because little girls need love to grow.
