Part two to the Kalashnikov feature from the Armed Anthros extras, this time featuring Alexei and a few short-barrelled Kalashnikov variants.

The AKS-74U is a shortened version of the AK-74 assault rifle, featuring an 18 inch barrel and chambered for 5.45x39mm.  Due to the shortened length of the weapon, an unique muzzle device and booster has been affixed to the rifle in order to ensure enough gas is tapped off toward the gas piston to reliably cycle the weapon when firing.  The rifle also features a side-folding triangular stock with similar stocks being fitted to the submachine guns illustrated below it.

The PP-19 Bizon is a submachine gun variant of the Kalashnikov rifle and is chambered for 9x18mm Makarov and also available in 9x17mm (.380 ACP), 9x19mm NATO, and 7.62x25mm Tokarev.  Perhaps the most notable feature of the Bizon is the icon helical drum magazine fitted to the underside of teh weapon and capable of holding 64 round of 9x18mm ammunition.

The Vityaz-SN is a more recent Kalashnikov-based submachine gun derived from the Bizon.  The Vityaz is chambered for 9x19mm NATO and is fed from a 30 round box magazine.  It is currently in service with Russia's Interior Ministry.

The AKMSU is a short-barreled Kalashnikov based on the AKM and chambered for the 7.62x39mm.  Unlike the other Kalashnikovs illustrated here, the AKMSU is not an actual military rifle or production design.  This particular rifle is actually believed to a be a custom made carbine built by a gunsmith (likely in the Khyber Pass region of Pakistan) and features a Chinese Type 56 receiver, an underfolding stock, AKS-74U receiver cover, and custom furniture and muzzle booster.
