Background: Frostbite was born half wolf, half husky in Nome, Alaska of 1925. He lived in a wooden cottage with his husky father Carl and his uncle Zack. Frostbites wolf mother Karen, left when he was only five years old. Karen had a drinking problem and chose to spend days at the bar, rather than with her family.

Frostbite helped his dad and uncle around the property, making sure that the wood was chopped, the porch was shoveled and the cars in good condition. Frostbite made his chores a contest, for he wanted to see if he could finish the work first. As years went by, Frostbite became stubborn and spent more time climbing the tress in the forest than helping around the house. He often got into arguments with his dad. When he was 16, Frostbite dropped out of school and left Alaska and got on the first plane to New York City. He lived on the streets for the first two weeks, making pocket change from playing his saxophone on the curb. As a kid, Frostbite had a talent for music and loved playing the saxophone. He eventually got a gig playing at a local bar and lived in the apartments above.

Several months later in July, Frostbite was arrested after beating up a jaguar who tried to steal his wallet. Frostbite beat the guy with his saxophone case and put him in the hospital. After spending a night in jail, Frostbite was taken to the D.A’s office and told the jaguar was going to make a full recovery, but was placed under arrest for attempted theft. The prosecutor then told Frostbite that he was going to be placed in Foster Care because he was sixteen.

The prosecutor then brought in a male leopard, who was a military officer. The leopard was named Andrew and told Frostbite that he was an old friend of his dad. Andrew told Frostbite that he would care for him, but under the condition that he attend military school. Frostbite rejected the offer at first, but then Andrew handed him a file with his mothers name on it. Frostbite read that after his mother Karen left, she went on the down low for several years, then put into the rehab by her parents. Frostbite saw that his mother was sober and working as an office clerk in Florida.

Frostbite then saw a letter that she had written, saying how sorry she was for leaving Frostbite and leaving him behind and wishes she could see him again. After reading the letter, Frostbite cried for a while and told Andrew he would stay with him. After moving in with Andrew, Frostbite wrote letters to both his parents, but made stubborn notes so they would know it was him. Andrew then enrolled Frostbite into military school. Frostbite rather hated attending the school, because of the training exercises and the fact he had to wear a military dress uniform. He felt the suit was tight and uncomfortable and always pulled on the neck collar.

Frostbite graduated with honors with B grades, for his love for challenges got him passing grades in jogging and rock climbing. He was then enlisted in the military and trained as a recruit in Washington, D.C. His stubborn attitude got the attention of one of the instructors, a male reptile named Gregor who was a couple years older than him. Frostbite mainly challenged Gregor, he wanted to see if he was better than him. Frostbite trained with Gregor in push, pull and sits-ups, as well as pole climbing, fighting, firearms. Overtime, Frostbite and Gregor became good friends.

After the war came to an end, Frostbite was honored for his service and made a Ranking Officer of the United States Military. He got a job as a constructor and helped with building new houses. In 1950, Frostbite was called in to take part in a new training exercise. Like Gregor and several others, Frostbite had to learn how to hold his breath for long periods of time. After almost a year of training, Frostbite could only hold his breath for six minutes.

Frostbite eventually went home to Alaska to see his dad, who was more than happy and proud to see him. Frostbite and his dad then went to Florida to see his mom. Carl and Karen were able to make up and get back together. Frostbite was happy for his parents, they got back together, he was living his life with a good career and a promising future.
