Background: Gregor was born in Phoenix, Arizona, 1923 to his parents, Thomas and Margret. Gregor was a rather happy boy, with parents that loved him. When he was seven years old, Gregors parents were killed in a car accident coming home one night from the opera. Gregor was at home with a babysitter when he received the news of his parents death. With no next-of-kin, Gregor was sent to the orphanage. Gregor hated living at the orphanage, for the other kids made fun him. They called him names like ‘Freaky Feet’ because his toes were crooked. They even mistook Gregor for a dragon, because of the scales that went from the back of his neck to his tail and his head horns.
The kids would often get into fights with Gregor, but no matter how hard they picked on him, Gregor never gave up when it came to fights, wether it was at the orphanage or school. One day after several months, the Orphanage was visited by a military officer, a male tiger named Wilson. Gregor was fighting with two of the other kids when the tiger arrived. When the owner of the orphanage broke off the fight, Wilson approached Gregor and had the kids explain what happened. After hearing the kids out and heard what the orphanage owner had to say, Wilson approached Gregor and held his hand out to him and said “Would you like to come home with me young one?”
Gregor was surprised that the Tiger wanted to adopt him. He smiled at the tiger and took his hand. Gregor left the orphanage and went to live with Wilson. Gregor found Wilsons home rather amazing, for it contained all of his accomplishments from his Military Service. Gregor told Wilson that he wanted to grow up and be just like him. From that point on, Wilson took Gregor under his wing and trained him in the ways of the United States Military. Wilson taught Gregor from home, while also taking him on hikes, camping trips and toughing him up. Gregor found Military training a little scary at first, mainly because Wilson drilled him in a harsh tone, but he knew he had to endure if he wanted to join the military one day.
When Gregor was eleven, Wilson enrolled Gregor in a Military Boarding Academy in Washington, D.C. while attending the school, Gregor was required to wear a military Dress suit. Even though Gregor felt the suit was tight and uncomfortable, he thought he looked appropriate when wearing it. He would often get good comments from the other students when dressed in the suit. Overtime, Gregor got use to wearing the suit. Gregor learned all basic school stuff, but was also taught in the ways of the military. Gregor learned rather quickly and became the top of his class by the end of his first year.
Gregor graduated from the military academy when he was eighteen in 1941. He then enlisted in the military shortly after. Gregor was then assigned to a tactical unit and was shipped off to London to help fight in the war. Gregors skills in digging and sneaking saved countless lives. Two years later in 1943, Gregor was called back to the states to train new recruits. One of the recruits was a hybrid wolf/husky named Frostbite, who didn’t care much for the training. Gregors superior tasked him with training Frostbite personally. Gregor and Frostbite mainly turned their training into a competition to see who could do the most push-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups and who could run the fastest. Overtime, Frostbite and Gregor became close friends. Two moths later, they were both called into the field of war.
After the war ended in 1945, Gregor was honored for his service and promoted to General and Frostbite was made a Ranking Officer. Gregor moved to D.C after the war and worked at the Pentagon. Five years later, Gregor was commanded to take part in a new training method. He would learn to hold his breath for long lengths of time. After many months of training, Gregor was able to hold his breath for Eight Long Minutes. The training came in handy during deep underwater missions. On his days off, Gregor would go fishing by the lake or go swimming at the pool. Gregor was rather happy with the life he had and didn’t want to throw it away.
