Demordicai Diamonds Character Art

I've been meaning to color this bit of Demordicai Diamonds character concept for a little over a month now.

Adonis is one of the handful of town guards of Aspen Village. He is a native of the island of Relma and hails from the local woodland outside of Aspen Village. His family has worked as masons for generations though Adonis decided not to take up the family trade (though he may be somewhat knowledgeable on the subject) and ended up being becoming a small town guard which. His grandfather, the head of his family and the best local mason, is a very strict fellow and wasn't happy at all with Adonis's decision to refuse the family trade.

Adonis has a bit of a problem when it comes to his looks, especially his hair. Most of the other guards joke that he has the looks of his sisters (and his mother) much to Adonis's near constant dismay. Adonis is through and through a male could really do without the jests all the time. His hair is in fact, really soft and quite pleasant but unfortunately has more renown than it's owner. Despite all he goes through, Adonis doesn't seem to have much interest in cutting his hair.

Being single bothers Adonis a little, finding it hard to find a vixen to settle down with (which he insists is what he is looking for contrary to some popular jokes in the guards' barracks). He's not very macho but tends to play more of the semi-quiet but thoughtful type. Among his favorite things are poetry, polished rocks, and art (no skill in it though). Adonis has a good appreciation of most things that could be considered having "artistic" merit.

The soonest Adonis will make is appearance in the comic is probably around the end of the first story-arc, around Chapter 8. That's only an estimation though.
