This design is based on the concept artwork of Rouge.  This time, the angle I'm going for is the idea of Knuckles having a rival in his Classic days.

For Rouge's physical appearance, she has bangs, which she will cut off in her later years.  And she wears eye shadow because, like Bunnie, that seems like a consistent look for her design.

For attire, she wears a sleeveless shirt, shorts, a belt, and pink boots.  For her gloves, the heart symbols are optional as I simply wanted to have hearts somewhere on her design.

Since Knuckles has the Indiana Jones look, Rouge would naturally have the Lara Croft look.

Does anyone remember the Wario Land games?  In the first two games, Wario battled his treasure hunter rival, Captain Syrup.

Imagine Knuckles got his own solo adventure game and it was based around this concept.  Knuckles would wear his treasure hunter hat that originated from the Sonic OVA.  And he would battle his treasure hunter rival Rouge.
