I'm tempted to make it an Anarchy Beryl shard. Not enough of a Beryl to negatively affect him (as in control him and make him a bloodthirsty murderer), but enough to give him a power boost if he needs it in a pinch. When he gets it, he'll be moody sometimes though. Easier to anger and such as the Beryls from his homeland exacerbate negative emotions. But no where near as badly as if he were to have an entire stone.

I've actually decided to go a step further with the Anarcy Beryl shard. I want him to completely decimate the Beryls from his zone. And Moebius being an Anit-Zone, I'm gonna headcanon that there's a Master Beryl that feeds all the negative-dominant energy into the zone. Char's gonna destroy that completely and keep a shard for himself. The Beryls aren't actually needed for the planet to prosper. If anything, the Beryls are preventing the planet from reaching its true potential.

Yeah, the shard works just as well as the whole, hence why he's going to obliterate it (The Master Beryl and all the smaller stones) to the point of it being unusable by another. I was thinking of making Char the guardian of the Master Beryl, but I'm not sure yet. It would make sense as to why the energies are so chaotic and wild, and cause such devastation and darkness on the zone it's housed in. There was no one there to control it. To Char though, the shard is not only going to be a reminder of his home zone, but a reminder of the feat of destroying what plagued it. Kind of a means to an end, like a redemption arc to repay for the time he took over Moebius and debated on leveling the entire planet.
