Needs to be said more XP. People with weak characters are poisoning everything about our public discourse. It's terrible to witness.

EDIT:

I would like to issue a formal apology for my yogurtphobic comment in the cartoon. I have been very insensitive to potted cultured milk products, which is harmful and risks encouraging bigotry against this marginalised foodstuff. I will take time to reflect on my toxic attitude and enter into a period of repentance, in which I will travel to local supermarkets, take a knee in the dairy aisles and supplicate myself to Onken.

Clearly you've never forgotten a partially eaten cup in the back of the fridge for a few months only to discover it when it's time to clean the fridge.  :shudder:

anyone who's lived in or even NEAR an "inner city urban" area, specially in a blue state, knows exactly this truth. That one pathetic bully who makes your life hell till you finally push him over and he runs home crying like a little bitch. Yeah, next thing you know, he's found 6 others just like him, so they can beat the crap out of you.

Tastefully-worded apology in that description, Roarey... Truly befitting a man of culture.

... Get it? Culture? Because yogurt?

Aha... heh... okay.

If you don't think yogurt can ever be intimidating, you've never had skyr. Has the consistency of clay unless you stir in a spoonful of milk. Sometimes I get so intimidated that I have to stir in TWO spoonfuls, and also add some cinnamon.

... *snrk* I'm more amused that you've got more fans defending YOGURT at this point than the usual SJW outrage. Ya done good, Roar.

I mean, when someone says something harmful or dangerous, you should speak up with the truth to reduce the harm they'd do if you were silent. Sometimes it's multiple people corroborating the truth, it happens.

No such thing as harmful opinions. It's people being that weak and pathetic that's the problem, because weak people who can't handle opinions fail to protect anything that's important; instead, they destroy what's important to protect their own cowardly feelings.

I can think of a ton of opinions that are harmful not only to individuals because it removes their ability to have agency, but even to society because they spread misinformation, contribute to conspiricism, spread anti-intellectualism, and lead to greater societal problems being left untreated.

Each of those things is subjective, there is no authority on them without someone dictating it. That's why the argument needs to happen and people need to speak freely.

One thing's for certain...When a gang beats up someone so bad they have to go to the hospital, that gang will never offer to pay their victim's hospital and medical bills that can run into the tens of thousands of $$$$...So guess who's stuck with the hospital and medical bills.

If you call fruity yogurt not intimidating, then you're denying their rich, diverse and other buzzwords culture of resilience against systematic oppression by vegans. If you say they can be intimating if they so wish, then this means you're reinforcing the stereotype that ALL fruit yogurts are violent thugs out for your lactose intolerant blood. Either way, you're branded a bigot.

Anyway, have a good day / night, and thanks for the chuckles =)

I mean, fruity yogurts intimidate me out of eating them so yeah, that's definitely a non-zero intimidation factor.
