Redesign of Siamese Cat girl. I've changed her name to 'Kasha Purrs'.
(1) I wasnt quite happy with the original design, but I really like this new look. Ive decided to go with a pair of pigtails and shorter hair. Ive kept the dark lower lip which i think is cute. This sketch I consider to be the canon appearance of the character.
(2) Attempt at drawing Kasha with a hoody. This one suggests a certain tom boyishness. I also like this one though it does have a slightly different feel to it. Tied to her tail is her lunch box (bento box).
(3) A cute picture of Kasha looking forward to her favorite meal of fried fish with a glass of milk (shes a cat so dont think of it as so strange).
(4) Here is Kasha and Kyaw having a slumber party. They are friends (just friends). Kyaw is the only boy Kasha is friends with. She's polite to boys but she doesnt like getting too close because she senses they want something from her. With Kyaw she doesnt feel pressured in any way. Kyaw for his part also doesnt feel like hes being judged for everything he likes. They have some hobbies and interests in common. Kasha might be Kyaws only actual friend in class.
Some notes on Kasha's personality. Kasha is not rude or snooty or uppity. She is kind and approachable. However her gentle appearance along with her kind personality tends to make boys swoon for her. With girls she is very popular and easily makes friends with them. Despite the fact that on the surface she appears very extraverted she is actually very guarded with people and doesnt like them to get too close, especially boys. Her politeness is a way to keep people from becoming too intimate with her whether in friendship or romance. She has very few people she fully opens up with. Social life aside she has a few passionate hobbies. She likes art, customizing clothing, dressing up, entomology (study of bugs), singing, jumping rope, hopscotch, arcade gaming, and chess. The last four of these hobbies she definitely shares with kyaw. Kasha introduced Kyaw to jumping rope and hopscotch which he now likes a lot and has even gotten pretty good at, and Kyaw introduced Kasha to video games and chess which she has also taken a liking to and gotten good at. They are good friends because each allows the other to explore outside their gender norms without judgement or belittling. They are both trying to figure themselves out and they offer each other a safe place to explore that.
