Gwendolyn's Uncle Ponsor is her mother's older brother. He was her family's patriarch and the one who held things together. When he says it's time to leave because shit's about to go down, no questions were asked. I'll do a character sheet for him at some point.

Oof..refugees...I've met several and they're grateful for kind words from others but, the loss of their home, and friends and family hurt them in ways that's hard to ever express in words

That's just it. I'm not a good person. I'm just a person. A soldier who was there to offer them protection as they fled their homes, after it turned into a war-zone and their only choice was to flee. I'm just a volunteer at local soup kitchens because, I know what it's like to starve (I grew up poor)

A good person, would have stopped the fighting. So they could stay in their homes. A good person, would have a way so the soup kitchens weren't needed. I don't have the means or the methods to fix these things. A good person, would.

She is. Her mom has some basic magic abilities, her dad is a normal rat. Her uncle is the one with similarly powerful magic that she inherited from that side of the family.

I noticed that Ponsor is also wearing a witch's hat. Should it be assumed that he's also capable of magic? It would make sense that that ability runs in the family.
