She turned out so cute! Her personality and mannerisms are very much that of a young witch trying to figure out the world around her and how she fits in it.

Young Gwyn is Adorable! Would have been fun to see her and Chucky together as kids back then. You're character design is right up there with the best of them! :D

Little Gwendolyn doesn't look happy to be there. At some point in her future she resolved to do whatever it took, regardless of any cost to herself or others, to extend her own life indefinitely and avoid being the guest of honor at one of these things. Chuckies many predecessors were not as lucky as him; they weren't still okay after she took what she needed from them. She's mellowed since then and has taken every precaution to protect her latest victim but it's implied that she was sort of monstrous for those first several generations. We're looking at cute little rat girl in her cute little pointed hat who is about to start a career fully earning the evil reputation witches have in this world. Perhaps Little Gwendolyn will learn how precious, and how very cheap, life can really be in the coming civil war. She'll witness her too-virtuous parents fail to make some of those tough decisions in their life, and resolve not make their carelessly trusting mistakes in her own. That would take the story into a much darker place than the cute naked romp we've seen so far but I don't see how you can avoid it.
And she's already wearing her ever-present collar that doesn't come off even for sleeping, bathing, or sex. CAN she even take it off?! When was it put on, and by who? Who owns it, and her? How long is her leash, even if it can't always be felt? Did she or her parents perhaps bargain away her freedom to some otherworldly power? It feels like an important little detail.

I honestly never intended for this story to take the turn that it did, I don't even remember when I decided to do it. It just sort of, happened. As for the collar, I just like the way she looks with it. No meaning behind it, although I could probably come up with something.

I also like how it works with her visual character design, but I now think you have to make up some backstory for it. People don't wear something continuously from childhood over several hundred years of life "just because it looks cool". It could be a magical restraint used to control
and empower
her, or just a passive symbol of her slavery, or a protective amulet her mother made that she wears in her memory, or a disguise
covering up the seam in her neck where her Dullahan head detaches
. It's not an urgent matter but our observant and curious skunk will eventually notice it and ask. It would be weird if he didn't before The End.

That's a good point. I like the interest you're taking in the comic. I think I've got a good idea for what it could be, and I know when its use could be demonstrated in an eventual scene.
