1. Seizing opportunity, Gene escapes by elbowing his captor!
2. The *twins give chase---it would be a true wolves vs Gene and Tasli battle!
*I smeared the reddish one... so I had to cut him out of the picture (oof!) ^^
WOLFBOYBROWN: "Get him!"
3. ...except Mama Wolf appears,
MAMAWOLF: "Settle, boys!"
4-5. MAMAWOLF (to the oldest cub): "Do you have this boy's skateboard?"
OLDESTCUB: "Yes"
MAMAWOLF: "Go fetch!"
MAMAWOLF (to the twins): "Did he say you could have his skateboard?"
WOLFBOYBROWN: "No, but we were gonna give it back"
MAMAWOLF: "Oh, why do I doubt that?"
6. MAMAWOLF (to Mubba, Tasli and Gene): "You got it back; my cubs won't bother you anymore. Now you three go back where you came from and don't come 'round here again. Got it?"
Well, it would seem the story is over---Mubba has his skateboard, and the thieves are at the mercy of their mama ...but it ain't over yet! :o
Tasli doesn't look very happy, and we don't know if Mubba will indeed his skateboard share (but at least he returned Gene's hat)!
So, again, there will be one more page ...eventually. ^_^
