This shows how the landscape changes to open desert beyond the homes of the anthro-animals who live on the west edge of the community of Duran. You can walk out the back door of the house, through the backyard for a hundred feet give or take, and you'd be entering desert.

The !st pic shows the edge of the house where Al, Marge and their cubs live. The tree house in the background is also theirs. Further in the background is a stretch of desert.

In the 2nd pic;
The top left is at the home of Ryan Lynx and his family.
The top right is at the home of Sid Calico Cat and his family.
The bottom left is at the home of Randy Fox and his family.
The bottom right is at the home of Frank and Wanda Coyote and their cubs including Clarence's girlfriend,Sheryl.

How do you draw these?

I use horizonal vanishing points a lot.

For the drawings that are not sighting down the building, I draw the basic shape, then refine in the details, which is easy with digital drawing.

So, this is digital art. For a while, I thought it was oil on a screen. o.o

I usually work with crayon and natural pencil in the paint program. That's what makes it look that way. For blades of long grass, and fur hairs, I use the oil brush setting on the most narrow width.
