Leonidas, Anna, Murghus, and Demetrius decided to walk around in the back and see who all is gonna be in the competition. That is until Leonidas spotted his old friend, Gristlespine. Leonidas had his brothers and sister stay where they were while Leonidas walked over to Gristlespine and asked, “Gristlespine, is that you?” Leonidas asked. Gristlespine then looked to Leonidas with a Dark look in his eye and then said, “Yes, old friend it is me, I see you have been doing well.” “Yeah, are you in the tournament?” Leonidas asked. “Yes, I am, I’ll be looking forward to seeing you in the finals.” Gristlespine said extending his paw out for a handshake. Leonidas then shook his friends hand and said, “I’ll see you in the finals.” “Good, come the finals, there will only be two left, and I have a good feeling that those two Dragons are gonna be you, and me, my friend.” Gristlespine said. “Come the finals, I may possibly still be in this shape.” Leonidas said. “Hmm, and in the finals, there will be no holding back.” Gristlespine said. “Alright, no holding back, just going all out with everything we’ve got.” Leonidas said. “Also, come the finals, May the better Dragon win.” Gristlespine said. “Right back at you my friend.” Leonidas said. Gristlespine and Leonidas then smiled and patted each other on the back. Leonidas and Gristlespine were technically like brothers, every other night Gristlespine and Leonidas would go out and hang out, and yet sometimes during those nights they take the time to practice some of their sparing techniques on one another as long as they didn’t get seriously hurt. “When’s your first round match Leonidas?” Gristlespine asked. “High noon; when’s your first round match, Gristlespine?” Leonidas asked. “It’s at one in the afternoon.” Gristlespine said. “Ah, who are you facing off against?” Leonidas asked. “I don’t really know, but I guess I’ll find out when my match comes around.” Gristlespine said with a smile. “I guess so.” Leonidas said smiling back. “So, who are you facing off against in the first round?” Gristlespine asked. “My two older brother’s.” Leonidas said pointing over to Murghus and Demetrius who were still standing there with Anna. “A Triple threat, that’s gonna be a good one.” Gristlespine said. “Are you gonna watch with my sister?” Leonidas asked. “Of course, who wouldn’t miss their best friends match?” Gristlespine asked high pathetically. Leonidas then smiled and looked at the time and noticed that it was high noon, and that it was time for his first round match. Demetrius and Murghus went out into the arena and went over to one side of the arena. Leonidas then walked out on his own, the audience had the biggest reaction when they saw Leonidas, Murghus and Demetrius were surprised by how much of an ovation that their younger brother was getting. Leonidas looked at the audience and when he saw Anna and Gristlespine, he nodded to them and then looked to both Demetrius and Murghus. Then the announcer said, “The Triple threat match between Demetrius, Murghus, and Leonidas will now get underway.” At that the audience then started cheering wildly. Leonidas then looked around and saw the entire Platinum-Force in the front row, and he also noticed Nightfire and Dextra, Leonidas then shadow kissed Nightfire and then the match began. Murghus and Demetrius then turned their attention towards each other, because here’s the thing, Demetrius is Leonidas’ Dark older brother, and Murghus is Leonidas’ Light older brother, so technically Leonidas is pretty much in the middle of this fight, so technically this isn’t a normal Triple threat match, it’s more of a two on one match against either the Light, or the Darkness. Leonidas on the other hand, had two special elements of his own, it wasn’t Light or Darkness, but it was his Star and Celestial elements. Demetrius and Murghus quickly glanced over to Leonidas and then they both said in unison, “Brother, join me and together we shall defeat the Light/Darkness.” Leonidas was a bit confused but Leonidas had a huge choice to make and then Leonidas just slammed his front paws in the ground, this time two balls of energy formed at his mouth and then, two beams got shot out of his mouth and then one of the beams hit Murghus and the other hit Demetrius. Demetrius and Murghus were both his so powerfully that they had the wind knocked out of them both and couldn’t fight anymore and then the announcer said, “And the winner of the Triple threat match is Leonidas the Dragon!!!” The crowd then cheered for Leonidas and all the Dragoness’ in the audience nearly went wild. Leonidas then helped his brother’s up and then helped them walk to the back. After Leonidas brought Demetrius and Murghus to the medical room in the arena, Anna then ran over to him and gave him a big hug. Leonidas then hugged Anna back and didn’t want to let Anna go. Anna didn’t want to let Leonidas go either but didn’t really have much of a choice but to let go. Leonidas had no choice but to let go as well. “So, what did you think of the match?” Leonidas asked. “It was actually pretty quick, and you only had to use one move to take them both out.” Anna said a bit excited. “Did you hear all the Dragoness’ in the audience?” Leonidas asked. “Yeah, they went completely bonkers when you won, I saw a couple signs being held up by a couple Dragoness’ that asked ‘Leonidas will you marry me?’, something tells me you have a lot of Dragoness fans.” Anna said. “I guess so, but I hope this popularity doesn’t affect my relationship that I’m in already.” Leonidas said. “Who are you mates with?” Anna said. “I’d rather not say her name but, let’s just say that she’s a Dragoness that I’ve known for a long time.” Leonidas said. “Oh, come on; let’s go watch the rest of the matches.” Anna said taking off towards the VIP area where all the other contestants in the tournament watch the other matches. Leonidas followed Anna up into the VIP seating area and watched the rest of the first round matches.
