As Leonidas decided to lie down on the top of a hill, he noticed his little sister Cynder out of the corner of his eye. “Hey Leonidas, what are you doing up here?” Cynder asked. “I’m just enjoying the view, why aren’t you out with Spyro?” Leonidas asked. “Oh, he’s decided that he wants some quality time alone.” Cynder said. “Ah, typical Spyro as usual, whatever he’s doing, I sure hope he’s thinking about you while he’s doing, whatever it is he’s doing.” Leonidas said. “Yeah, but on the bright side, I get to spend some quality time with my brother.” Cynder said nuzzling her brother. Even though Leonidas was bigger than Cynder, she didn’t mind how big he was, as long Leonidas still took good care of her. “Cynder, I think it’s time we talked.” Leonidas said. “Talked about what?” Cynder asked. “It’s about our parents.” Leonidas said. “O-Our parents, w-where are they, are they okay?” Cynder asked. “Our father is okay, though I don’t really know about our mother.” Leonidas said. “Who is our father?” Cynder asked. Leonidas looked to Cynder and asked, “Do you really want to know who our father is?” “With my entire heart yes, please I wanna see him now.” Cynder said. “Okay, okay, calm down first.” Leonidas said. Cynder did as her brother told her to do and closed her eyes and took a deep breath and then said, “Now, may I please see him?” Cynder asked. “Of course you may see him.” Leonidas said wrapping his wing around Cynder and teleported to Warfang where Terrador and the others Guardians were. Terrador looked over to the side and noticed Leonidas and Cynder out of the corner of his eye. The other Guardians looked to them as well and Terrador asked, “Where’s Spyro?” “He’s out there, doing god knows what.” Leonidas said. “Ah, okay then.” Cynder then looked up to her brother and asked, “Uh, Leonidas why are we here?” “Hold on a few minutes and you’ll see why.” Leonidas said. Terrador looked over to the other Guardians and told them, “Send a search party out to find Spyro, but uh, what about Ignitus.” Terrador asked looking back to Leonidas and Cynder. Leonidas and Cynder looked to each other and a tear went down Cynder’s cheek, but Leonidas licked it away and then Leonidas told Terrador about Ignitus sacrificing himself to allow him Spyro and Cynder to get through the Belt of Fire. “So, Ignitus is gone, hmm, Ignitus was like a brother to me, though I am glad that the three of you made it out alive.” Terrador said. “Well, it was a rough walk the rest of the way to defeat Malefor.” Leonidas said. “There were all sorts of Grublins, Orcs, and multiple other enemies like that.” Cynder added. “Hmm, now let’s get that search party for Spyro out there as quickly as possible.” Terrador said. Leonidas and Cynder walked with Terrador into his Guardian chamber and then Terrador said, “I already know why you two are here.” “Really, you already know?” Leonidas and Cynder asked in unison. “Yes, because my children, I have been worried about both of your health, but I can see that, nothing is broken, neither of you have been wounded, that’s another good sign.” Terrador said. “You just called us, your children.” Leonidas said. “Yes, yes I did, because I have missed both my son, and my daughter, very much.” Terrador said walking over to his kids and giving them a hug. Leonidas and Cynder hugged their father back. “Dad, there’s something we wanna talk to you about.” Leonidas said. “What do you wanna talk about?” Terrador asked. “Mom, what was she like, what did she look like, where is she?” Leonidas asked. Terrador smiled and then spoke, “Your mother was a beautiful Dragoness, and she looked a bit like you.” “She looked like me?” Cynder asked. “Yes, and yet she is actually very beautiful.” Terrador said. “What was her first reaction when she first saw me?” Leonidas asked. “She was in nothing but shock; she could hardly believe that the purple egg she laid, and out hatched a little black Dragon, even though my son, your true scale color is actually purple.” Terrador said. “It is?” Leonidas asked a bit confused. “Yes, it is, but the only one that can turn you back into your natural color is your mother.” Terrador said. “Oh, didn’t see that coming.” Leonidas said hanging his head low. “Don’t be like that son; your mother loved you from the moment she first laid eyes on you.” Terrador said. “Then why isn’t she here?” Leonidas asked in a bit of an aggressive tone. “Leonidas, calm down, you can’t blame your mother for this.” Terrador said. “Then who can I blame, there’s no one else to blame for this accident except her, and you, both of you were supposed to protect me, but that didn’t happen, that’s why I’m in this huge mess.” Leonidas said very angrily. “Leonidas calm down; you can’t blame everyone else for this mistake.” Cynder said. Though Leonidas has had enough and then just ran out of the room, when he got to the entrance of the temple, Leonidas immediately took flight. Leonidas just kept flying and didn’t bother looking back. Cynder looked to her father and asked, “Is Leonidas gonna be okay?” “He’ll be fine, just give him some time to cool off and gather his thoughts.” Terrador said. Leonidas didn’t stop flying until he stopped in Avalar, and then he landed in the middle of the Valley and then slammed his entire body into the ground. Leonidas then heard the sound of crackling and looked around until he saw a little purple egg, and walked towards it. Out of the egg hatched a little purple Dragoness, she looked up to Leonidas and then she reached up to Leonidas’ muzzle and Leonidas layed down and looked around and saw no trace of a Father or a Mother anywhere. Leonidas looked to the little Dragoness and held her close to him, he decided to raise her on his own and he was having trouble thinking of a name for her. “Hmm, it’ll be okay Rachelle, yeah, Rachelle, that’s a cute name for a little girl like this, and do you like that name sweetie?” Leonidas asked his daughter. Rachelle nodded for her answer and licked under her father’s chin. Leonidas smiled and licked little Rachelle’s cheek. Leonidas then looked to see the sun going down and then looked to Rachelle to see her let out a big yawn, and curl up into a little ball. Leonidas smiled and then yawned lightly, and then wrapped his tail and around Rachelle and held his head near her during the night, at that moment Leonidas knew that raising this little Dragoness was gonna be fun.
