The next morning, Leonidas woke-up to see Rachelle still asleep; Leonidas smiled and placed a kiss on Rachelle’s forehead. Rachelle smiled and rubbed up against her father in her sleep. Leonidas smiled and then heard the sound of beating wings coming towards him and Rachelle; he looked up in the sky and noticed that it was his friend Liz. Liz landed next to Leonidas and Rachelle and tried not to wake-up Rachelle. “Hey Leonidas, how have you been?” Liz asked. “Just have been a few family problems going on right now.” Leonidas said. “I see that this is your little girl?” Liz asked. Leonidas looked down to Rachelle and smiled then said, “Yeah, she’s my little angel.” Liz smiled and gave Leonidas a hug and said, “I’m proud for you Leonidas.” Leonidas hugged Liz back and said, “Thanks Liz, it really means a lot to me.” “You’re welcome Leonidas, aren’t you gonna need help raising her?” Liz asked. “No, I’m gonna raise her by myself.” Leonidas said. “Ah, what did you decide to name her?” Liz asked. “Her name is Rachelle.” Leonidas answered. “That’s a cute name; she looks a little bit like you.” Liz said. “Hmm, so she does, I think it’s actually very cool.” Leonidas said. “Really, I hope she stays with you Leonidas.” Liz said. “As do I Liz, as do I.” Leonidas said placing a kiss on Rachelle’s forehead. At that moment Rachelle yawned and opened her eyes and looked to her father and nuzzled him. Leonidas then rubbed noses with his little girl and held her close. Rachelle rubbed noses back and held onto her father. “Liz could you watch Rachelle while I go hunting?” Leonidas asked. “Of course, I’ll keep a close eye on her.” Liz said. “Thanks Liz.” Leonidas said then took off into the forest to find something to eat. Liz looked to Rachelle and nuzzled her but only got shoved away. Rachelle didn’t want a mother; it seems she only wanted her father. It only took Leonidas a few minutes to go find something to eat and bring it back home to Rachelle. Leonidas carried a dead buck on his back and landed behind his little girl and put the buck behind him and placed a kiss on Rachelle’s cheek. Rachelle smiled and turned to her father and jumped up onto his muzzle and hugged him. Leonidas smiled and placed Rachelle back down in the nest and licked her clean. Liz smiled as she watched it all happen and then told Leonidas, “Maybe your right Leonidas, she’s just a daddy’s girl.” Leonidas looked to Liz and asked, “How do you know that?” “While you were away, I tried to nuzzle her to see if she would nuzzle back, but instead, she shoved me away as if I was nothing.” Liz said “Give her some time to get adapted to her surroundings.” Leonidas said cutting slices of meat thin enough for Rachelle to eat. Rachelle opened her mouth and piece after piece she ate; she thought it was very delicious. After Rachelle was done eating, Leonidas smiled and nuzzled Rachelle and held her close to him and then asked Rachelle, “Wanna go see your grandpa and auntie?” Rachelle then started rapidly nodding and climbed onto her father’s back. “I’ll take that as a yes.” Leonidas said. “Hey Leonidas, could I come with you?” Liz asked. “Sure, come on.” Leonidas said before taking flight towards Warfang. Liz followed right behind Leonidas and was very surprised by how beautiful the city was. Leonidas flew up to the temple with Liz close behind him and went around looking for his father. Leonidas found his father talking with Spyro and Cynder, Leonidas knocked on the wall before going in. Everyone looked to Leonidas and was surprised to see him including a black Dragoness that was standing next to Terrador, Leonidas knew that she looked a bit like Evil Cynder but then noticed that she was actually multiple years older than Evil Cynder. “Hello son, are you alright?” Terrador asked. “Yeah, I’m perfectly fine.” Leonidas said. Liz walked in and stood next to Leonidas. “Who is this?” Terrador asked. “This is my friend Liz.” Leonidas said. “It’s an honor to meet you sir.” Liz said politely. “As it is the same to you Liz, and son, there is someone special here to see you.” Terrador said. “Well before this special someone comes out here, could I show you a very special something?” Leonidas asked. “Of course, let’s see who it is.” Terrador said. “Alright, take a look very closely.” Leonidas said lowering down and laid his wings flat on the ground and showed his father the little purple hatchling on his back and Terrador was shocked and then asked, “Who is this?” “This is Rachelle, your granddaughter, or in other words, my daughter.” Leonidas said. Terrador then went wide eyed and asked, “How did you get a daughter?!” “Dad, don’t worry, I just found her egg out in the Valley so I decided to take her in.” Leonidas said. “Was her parents around?” Terrador asked. “No, there were no signs of any parents around anywhere, so I decided to take her in and so now she’s pretty much my little girl.” Leonidas said. Cynder then ran over to her brother and gave him a big hug and said, “I’m proud of you bro.” “Thanks sis, she’s also your niece too.” Leonidas said. “I know, she’s really adorable too.” Cynder said. “Yeah, I know.” Leonidas said happily. “Son, like I said a few moments ago, there’s someone special here to see you.” Terrador said. “Who is it?” Leonidas asked a bit curious. “I think you’ll recognize her when you first see her.” Terrador said as a Black Dragoness came around the corner, she looked just like Evil Cynder but she wasn’t evil, after a few moments of examining her Leonidas realized who she was. “Mother, is that you?” Leonidas asked. She walked up to Leonidas and placed a kiss on his forehead turning Leonidas back into his purple Dragon form but his Light and Darkness markings stayed where they were and then she said, “Yep, it’s me.” Leonidas then smiled and gave his mother a big hug. She hugged back with a tear going down her cheek. “Cynthia honey, would you like to walk around the city with me?” Terrador asked his mate. “I’ll walk around the city with you tomorrow honey, right now I just wanna spend some time with my son and my granddaughter.” Cynthia said with a smile on her face. “Very well my love.” Terrador said and placed a kiss on Cynthia’s cheek. Cynthia was happy to be back home with her mate, son, daughter, and granddaughter.
