---3 years later---
After Spyro, Cynder, and Leonidas got freed from they’re crystalized sleeping chamber, Spyro n Cynder got shackled together but Leonidas wasn’t. When Leonidas woke-up he examined his new figure and then went over to Cynder and woke her up. “Brother, is that you?” Cynder asked. “Yes Cynder it’s me.” Leonidas said with his voice in a deeper tone now. “You look awesome.” Cynder complimented. “Why thank you, you don’t look half bad yourself.” Leonidas complimented back. “So where are we?” Cynder asked. “I don’t know.” Leonidas said walking to the edge and looking down. “Why do I have the strange feeling that something bad is gonna happen?” Cynder asked. “Probably because something bad will happen in a few minutes, wake Spyro up quickly.” Leonidas said. “Okay, I will.” Cynder said. Leonidas quickly found a place to hide. “Spyro, Spyro open your eyes, get up.” Cynder said to Spyro loudly. “Cynder, where are we?” Spyro asked. “I don’t know it’s all a blur.” Cynder said. “You can say that again, my head is pounding” Spyro said. “Wait, that’s not your head.” Cynder said looking around as the room started to light up. Spyro noticed the grublins. “What are they doing?” Cynder asked looking at the grublins. “I don’t know but let’s get out of here before something bad happens.” Spyro said. Leonidas then felt the energy of the shackles emanating from above him and peaked over the edge and looked wide eyed at Spyro and Cynder. “Uh, what is your problem?” Cynder asked. “Uh-oh, this can’t be good.” Spyro and Cynder said in unison. That’s when Leonidas took his que and came out of hiding and landed behind Spyro and Cynder and was prepared for anything that was coming they’re way. After a certain amount of minutes the grublins started coming in packs and Leonidas was killing them all with one swing of his arm, but after a while, the Golem of the Deep came up and then Spyro and Cynder had no choice but to break the stable holding them down while Leonidas took care of the Golem sending back down into the depths of the Catacombs where it belongs. Leonidas looked over to the mysterious cheetah and used his shadow hands to point over to him so Spyro and Cynder would notice him. “Who is he?” Spyro asked. “I don’t really know.” Sparx said. “I like him already.” Cynder said. Leonidas then snapped his claws and teleported Spyro Cynder and Sparx over to the mysterious cheetah and teleported himself along the way. “Spyro, Cynder how do you feel, anything broken?” the mysterious cheetah asked. “Perfectly fine now, thanks to you.” Spyro said. “I am relieved I had feared I might have been too late, my name is Hunter.” Hunter said. “Hunter, you’ve been tracking me.” Spyro said. “For far too long friend, when you didn’t return to the temple, the elder dragon, Ignitus, sent me to find you, that was nearly three years ago.” Hunter said. “Three years but that’s impossible.” Spyro said. “I know this may come as a stunning surprise, but we must move quickly.” Hunter said. The out of nowhere the doorway behind them got caved in because of the Golem. “We’re not gonna be safe here if we stay, let’s move.” Leonidas said taking off. Spyro Cynder Sparx and Hunter followed close behind Leonidas.
---Twilight Falls---
Leonidas had his wings at full extension and was followed close behind by Spyro Cynder and Sparx of course Hunter was leading the way. After going through the last cave Leonidas landed on the closest rock and looked around at the beautiful place that was Twilight Falls. “Wow, it sure is beautiful.” Cynder said landing next to her brother. “Yeah, it sure is.” Leonidas said taking off again. In his mind Leonidas was thinking this; ‘I sure hope father is okay.’ Cynder didn’t notice but Leonidas had a hint of doubt in his eye thinking that none of this should have ever happened to begin with. Spyro on the other hand noticed it but he didn’t say a word Spyro and Cynder went on to face the Grublins at the bottom and Leonidas landed where the whirlwind he saw ended and faced the elite Grublin and used whatever element he had to get the mask off its face then killed it with one hit with his Star beam. Leonidas all together has infinite elements, so technically Leonidas has to get as many experience points as he possibly can. Even though Leonidas’ energy and health hardly did much when he got touched, a single scale, if you tried plucking one, would be solid/hard as a rock. When Spyro or Cynder broke open a experience crystal there would be three thousand points inside of it a thousand for Spyro another thousand for Cynder and the last thousand for Leonidas. Though it didn’t take long for Spyro and Cynder to reach MAX experience points now whatever amount of experience points they were gonna collect it would bounce off of them and over to Leonidas. When they reached to where Hunter was that’s when Spyro and Cynder took care of all the Grublins and then after the Grublins were killed, Leonidas took over and with another one hit kill he killed the last enemy, but before pushing the tree down they went around searching for either energy or health egg shaped crystals that would help Spyro and Cynder’s health and energy go up. Though Leonidas’ health and energy was already at MAX they were both a whole five foot bar that was about half his length. Also while they were looking around they found chests that were locked tightly with pieces of armor for either Spyro or Cynder. Spyro and Cynder didn’t bother opening it; they let Leonidas open the chests. Leonidas just flew to the top of the cliff and waited for them along with Hunter. When Spyro and Cynder reached the top Hunter turned and walked back to the spot on the cliff where Leonidas went to work setting up camp and put together a campfire. “Uh, there’s no way to get these things off.” Cynder complained. “Maybe if we tried twisting it?” Spyro suggested. “Twist what it’s magic.” Cynder said. Sparx chuckled and said; “I could watch this all day.” They all looked on in awe and then Spyro spoke; “The Dark Master, he’s returned hasn’t he.” “Oh yes, just shortly after your disappearance, he struck quickly, fueled by malice and anger, taking the throne of the temple, ever since then he’s been sending his forces to come hunt us down.” Hunter said explaining the three year story. “I failed, everyone counted on me and I failed how could I let this happen.” Spyro said. “You don’t have to be so hard on yourself; you shouldn’t be taking the blame for all of this.” Cynder said feeling sorry for Spyro. “Spyro, you’re lucky to be alive all of you, even I am, but that wasn’t no ordinary creature back there, it was one of The Dark Masters most dangerous entities the Golem of the Deep, these are dark times.” Leonidas explain. Then Cynder got hit in the side of the face with some unknown object, momentarily Spyro got hit with that same unknown force, and then Sparx got hit, and finally big Leonidas didn’t go down easy, it took twenty shots for that unknown force to knock him unconscious.
---The Valley of Avalar---
Waking up from his slumber Spyro looked around and noticed that he was in the cheetah village and looked to see that Cynder was awake and then looked over and saw that Leonidas was still asleep, after all Leonidas took multiple shots to the face but didn’t show any signs of being hurt or injured at all, which is one thing Leonidas is immune to. After a few moments Chief Prowlus came up to Spyro and Cynder and then spoke; “Dragons, possibly forces of The Dark Master’s, you were supposed to be careful Hunter.” Chief Prowlus said to Hunter. “Chief Prowlus the real threat is Malefor not them.” Hunter explained. “I know about him, but I haven’t forgotten about what she’s done.” Chief Prowlus looked at Cynder disgusted. Then one of the villagers yelled out; “Grublins, in the Valley!” The Grublins then set fire to one of the multiple cheetah houses and then started they’re attack. At that moment woke-up with his blood-red eyes piercing over at the Grublins drawing fear into them as Leonidas wasn’t chained and immediately went to work and killed each and every one of them with only 1 hit, while everyone else watched in awe. When Leonidas saw the flock of Wyvern coming that’s when he had enough blasted the entire flock with his Star beam killing them all. Leonidas turned around and noticed that the Grublins and Wyvern somehow got passed him and started destroying the first house. Leonidas then went to 1 side and measured them all up just right and then slammed his front paws into the ground beneath him and opened his mouth wide as a large ball of energy formed and his neck had static coming from it and then blasted the entire group killing them all in 1 hit and then all experience points went right to him. Everyone just stared at Leonidas in awe until he finally snapped them all out of it, and took the key to Spyro and Cynder’s chain and freed them. “Is everyone alright?” Chief Prowlus asked. “No, Meadow went out searching for herbs this morning and hasn’t returned.” 1 of the warriors said. “Don’t worry, we’ll find your missing friend Hunter can come with us.” Spyro said. “Hunter stays here, but if you come back with Meadow, I may reconsider.” Chief Prowlus said and the search began. Leonidas Cynder and Spyro took flight in search of Meadow; they searched all around the valley and killed all enemies that they ran into except all the experience points went to Leonidas. Spyro and Cynder had they’re elements at MAX power and were surprised with how powerful Leonidas was already. When Leonidas spotted the cave where Meadow is, he called Spyro and Cynder over and flew inside the cave with Spyro and Cynder close behind. When they reached an opening they looked over to the wall and saw Meadow being held to the wall against his will. Leonidas could already sense danger and didn’t even bother telling Spyro or Cynder, and then when they got close to Meadow an Orc appeared n Leonidas just slammed it into the ground killing it, then a few more Orc’s appeared and slammed them into the ground as well. When the final wave of Orc’s and Grublins appeared that’s when Leonidas had enough and went berserk and then he let his convexity flow through his body and started killing enemies left and right. After that was all said and done, Meadow was finally freed but something was wrong, and the last three boulders then morphed into Grublins. Leonidas gave them an intense stare and the Grublins didn’t even move, as Spyro and Cynder walked closer to the Grublins they then disappeared. “Thank you friends, you saved my life, you’ve met Chief Prowlus no doubt, not all of us are of the same mind set.” Meadow said. “Well, that’s putting it mildly.” Cynder high-pathetically said. “Can you move, we need to get you out of here.” Spyro said. Meadow tried to get up but couldn’t and then said, “I’m sorry, my leg is broken, go back to the village, tell them I’m where I am.” Meadow said. “Your leader doesn’t trust us, if we return without you, he’ll expect the worst.” Spyro said. “Yeah, and blame us for it.” Cynder added. “Ah, the fool, I understand, there is a Raft on the other side of the Valley, if you could bring it to me, perhaps I could pull myself onto it, but first you’ll need the weights from the chamber, but it’s locked.” Meadow explained. “Oh that figures.” Sparx said. “There’s a Hermit, he has the key to unlock it, look for the markings on the wall to find him.” Meadow explained. “Hmm, as long as I have that all memorized we’ll know where to go.” Leonidas said. “We’ll come back for you I promise” Spyro said. Spyro and Cynder started walking in Leonidas direction until the rock behind Meadow exploded and then a chest appeared then Leonidas pointed to it and Spyro and Cynder went over to it and opened it. After that they left the cave in search of the markings on the wall. When Leonidas spotted the marking he called Spyro and Cynder over and opened up the door way, then they went through it and because the search for the Hermit. Spyro and Cynder went searching through the caves to find anything useful and found a red egg shaped crystal and a blue experience crystal sending all the points to Leonidas. Leonidas knew that the stone slabs up above him were for Spyro and Cynder, and so he teleported Spyro and Cynder up to the stone platform and watched as they started jumping from ledge to ledge. As Spyro and Cynder found a green egg shaped crystal Leonidas teleported to where they were and sensed a familiar presence below, but didn’t know where to look for them. When Leonidas stepped down, that’s when the Shadows came out to play. Leonidas then smirked and killed all of the shadows with his light beams’. All the experience points went to Leonidas and then, they found the Hermit. “Come closer so I can see you in the light; tell me, why have you returned?” The Hermit asked Cynder. “What do you mean; I’ve never been here before.” Spyro said. “Not you, the female.” The Hermit said. “You must be mistaken.” Cynder said. “Ah yes, your appearance has changed, but not your eyes, your eye tell the whole story, you are the Black Dragon, Cynder, The Terror of the Skies, The Dark Masters puppet.” The Hermit explained. “I was but, I’m not anymore, I’m not proud of the things I’ve done.” Cynder said. “Oh, is it that simple to turn your back on Malefor, the apes too have served Malefor but more for their own greed.” The Hermit said as the Shadows called out. “Do these creatures seem familiar at all, after the apes showed Malefor how much greed they had, Malefor repaired them, doomed to remain in the dark, you can run, but you cannot hide Cynder.” The Hermit said. Cynder lowered her head in sadness. “Cynder, let’s go.” Spyro said as they turned around and started walking towards Leonidas. “The Dark Master will find you.” The Hermit said and started laughing. “Cynder are you okay?” Spyro asked. “I’m fine I’ll be fine.” Cynder said. “Well I’m not, can you believe how freaky that guy was?!” Sparx exclaimed. Leonidas smirked and said, “At least it wasn’t a complete loss.” Leonidas then held the key up with his shadow hand and teleported the four of them to the supply cave and used the key to unlock it and then teleported to waits to the raft and teleported another orb to another cave where a green egg shaped crystal was to be found. Leonidas then looked inside the supply cave and found another shackle but somehow the shackle put itself on Leonidas. Know the whole crew was shackled together, but there is only one way to get these shackles off, and that one way is to defeat the Dark Master. Leonidas then became the leader of the group really quickly and tossed Spyro and Cynder up where that green egg shaped crystal was and broke it. After that, Leonidas and co. went on to face the Elite enemy and let Cynder use her fear breath to get the mask off its face and then killed it by engulfing it into the ground using his earth ability, and then the elite enemy died sending all the experience points to Leonidas. Leonidas smiled thought he was only quarterly up to MAX power. Leonidas teleported himself and co. to the raft and looked to it down in the water and suggested that Spyro and Cynder go down on the raft while he pulled it. Spyro and Cynder were on the raft and were holding onto it very tightly. Leonidas then took flight using his strength to pull the raft to the cave where Meadow was waiting, but they had some trouble on the way there luckily Leonidas killed all the enemies by drowning them and then took flight once again receiving experience points as he continued his flight. Spyro and Cynder are still holding tightly onto the raft until they finally reached the cave where Meadow was waiting. “Ah, you’ve returned, thank you.” Meadow said thankfully. “Let’s get you home.” Spyro said. Arriving in the village Meadow looked around at everyone until someone finally said, “Meadow, you are wounded, how did…” “I’m alright, thanks to these three Dragons.” Meadow said. “It seems I was wrong about this Dragon, Hunter, by putting you in chains, I made a mistake.” Chief Prowlus said. “We all make mistakes.” Hunter said. “Yes, and I shall try to atone for mine, if you will permit me, use the sacred tunnel it’ll lead you directly to the Dragon city, if this Dragon really is our last hope, then I wish you the best of luck.” Chief Prowlus said. “We could use your help…….very well; the invitation shall be left open.” Hunter said. Arriving at the sacred tunnel Hunter said, “Meet me here as soon as you’re ready to set out for Warfang.” Hunter stood over by the scared tunnel as Leonidas and co. walked over to him indicating that they were ready. Hunter opened the door and Sparx asked, “Oh, Hunter do we really have to go this way?” “If we march quickly we will reach the Dragon city by day break.” Hunter said. “Yeah thanks for answering.” Sparx said.
---The Dragon City---
“I feel, vibrations in the earth, we must be getting close.” Hunter said. “I’ve never seen the Dragon city before.” Spyro said. “It was a city built centuries ago, for the moles friendship with the Dragons, like Malefor no one knows what too….” “Sh...” Cynder said interrupting Hunter. “I hear it too, quickly.” Hunter said quickly taking off being followed close behind by Leonidas and co. “It has begun.” Hunter said looking around at the war going on. “This way quickly.” Hunter said taking off towards the gates. Leonidas and co. followed Hunter until they got cut off by the roof of a building falling down right in front of them. Hunter looked back astonished. “I’m alright, but you won’t be able to get around this way, go find Ignitus.” Hunter said. “Okay, good luck.” Spyro said. That is until Leonidas spotted the place on fire where some of the moles were stuck inside. “HELP US PLEASE!!!” the moles yelled calling out for help. “Spyro look.” Cynder said. “They need our help.” Spyro said. Leonidas then at that moment flew towards the fountain and made it so that the water was flowing into the little space it had on the other side, and then after Leonidas and co. got the water into the small space on the other side of the wall the flames started spreading. Leonidas Spyro and Cynder then went to get the buckets so they could put water in them and dump them on the fire. Spyro and Cynder grabbed one bucket, but Leonidas grabbed two buckets incase the flames started spreading again. Spyro filled his bucket up with water and dumped it on the flames causing them to go down. Cynder filled her bucket up with water and dumped it on the flames causing them to go down more. Leonidas filled both his buckets up with water and dumped it them on the flames causing to go all the down. The moles were able to finally exit the building and walked over to Leonidas and co. and one of them said, “Thank you, y-you saved our lives.” Then one of the moles up on the wall exclaimed, “SIEGE ENGINES COMING THIS WAY!” “Everyone who can fight head up to the Ramparts, the rest of you run and get to shelter.” Leonidas said saving Spyro and Cynder the energy. The moles that were wounded went to find shelter, while the other moles went to the Ramparts. Leonidas and co. went around and found all the green and red egg shaped crystals and blue experience crystals causing all three thousand points in all of them to go to Leonidas. Leonidas also found three torches that he lit with his black fire and broke red egg shaped crystal that was stored in a storage place with three torches which were lit and then went to the Ramparts with Spyro and Cynder close behind and then Spyro and Cynder opened the gate taking them from the city to them wall where the war was taking place. When Leonidas saw the battering ram he them went to the middle of the wall and then slammed his front paws into the ground and then a ball of energy formed at his mouth, Spyro and Cynder watch in awe, and then after a few moments the ball of energy then turned into a powerful beam heading straight for the battering ram which then caused the battering ram to explode and then the Dark Masters troopers, or Grublins, started appearing and then Spyro Cynder and Leonidas started throwing them over the sides of the walls. After a while the Artillery mole said, “I need some help reloading friends.” At that moment Leonidas then lifted the switch up with only one push and then the Artillery mole took care of the Siege Tower in front of them and watched as it exploded and then took out a few more Siege Towers until he ran out of ammunition again, and then Leonidas helped the Artillery mole reload and then the Artillery mole started aiming for the army and took out little by little of the army, that is until they all noticed a huge enemy trying to get the gates open Leonidas tried to do something but it was already too late. Leonidas looked over to the side and noticed that a tower had been knocked down and noticed there were no siege engines to be seen. Leonidas Spyro and Cynder then went down the steps that the building use to block and noticed two blue crystals as they glided down and immediately broke them sending the points to Leonidas, but it wasn’t too long before Leonidas noticed a chest in front of another blue crystal. Spyro and Cynder opened the chest while Leonidas broke open having all the points come to him again. Leonidas is only half way done getting to MAX power but he all the experience points from all the enemies help out little by little. As Leonidas climbed up a wall with Spyro and Cynder on his back he then glided over to another platform but didn’t let the wind blow him down then climbed up another wall as Spyro and Cynder jumped off Leonidas’ back and down onto the ground. When they all looked to the huge enemy they noticed Hunter up on the roof across from them and then glided down and then Leonidas just let out a huge stream of Black fire which, after a few seconds, killed it and then the torches to keep the gates shut burned out and then the gates burst open with enemies trying to get into the city and then another chest appeared. Spyro and Cynder opened the chest, while Leonidas protected them from the enemies. Leonidas then lit the torches with his black fire breath, and Spyro and Cynder closed the gates while Leonidas went to get the last experience crystal. Spyro and Cynder could hardly hold the gates closed any longer until Leonidas slammed, head first, into the gates causing them to stay closed as his black fire was able to keep the gates tightly locked. Leonidas and co. stopped pushing the gates shut and looked at one another until they heard someone say, “They’re retreating.” Leonidas and co. flew up to the top of the wall and looked to see the army retreating. “Why are they retreating when they were so close to taking over the city?” Cynder asked. “Yes, I feel it too, something isn’t right.” Hunter said. Leonidas knew exactly what was going on but Spyro beat him to the punch and said, “They turning around, look.” Spyro said looking to something in the mist behind the army. Leonidas looked closely and saw the Golem of the deep and then the Golem went down into the Earth beneath them. “It’s in the earth beneath us, EVERYONE RUN!!” Cynder exclaimed. The Golem came up from the earth and then used its only hand to slam down part of the wall and used that knocked down part of the wall to create another hand. The Guardians were up above the city watching what was going on. “Cyril, the city is burning, see what you can do about it, Volteer distract its vision, Terrador come with me, and we’ll attack it head-on.” Ignitus said giving orders to the other Guardians. “Spyro, Cynder, you two take Leonidas out of here while we take care of this.” Hunter said before he left. “What do we do now?” Cynder asked. “What do you mean what do we do know, didn’t you hear Hunter, let’s grab the big guy and leave.” Sparx said. Spyro then got a fierce look in his eye. Leonidas then got one of the most terrifying looks you could ever imagine, his eyes went from ruby red to pure blood-red and his markings on both sides of him started glowing, and then he said, “We’re not going anywhere, we can stop this.”
---The Attack of the Golem---
After a bout of few moments of looking at the back of the Golem, enemies appeared next to them though Leonidas was keeping a close eye on the tail of the Golem. Every time the Golems tail came down Leonidas took a moment to slash at it with his, sharp as a butcher-knife like, tail. When all the enemies were dead, Leonidas then teleported over to the other side and broke the red egg shaped crystal for Spyro and Cynder, and then teleported back and then helped Spyro and Cynder push the piece of the earth over to form a ramp for the three of them to go up which where they ran into Cyril and he said, “Spyro this way quickly, or ignore me at your own, peril.” The Golems tail then was gonna smash the platform they were standing on but Cyril wasn’t gonna allow it to happen when the finally got across Cyril got wacked with the Golems tail and was sent down to the ground, then the Golem roared. “Is everyone alright?” Spyro asked. “No, I’m not okay; didn’t you just see what happened to Cyril?” Sparx asked. “He’ll be fine, we have to move.” Cynder said. Spyro and Cynder didn’t go as far as the corner where a green egg shaped crystal was as Leonidas broke it open, and then continued forward as the Golem knocked a building down. Then Volteer flew overhead and said, “Hold on, I’ll get you out of there.” The Golem the started swinging at Volteer but missed every time. Leonidas Spyro and Cynder then started fighting off all the enemies that came at them. When the last three enemies appeared in front of a certain structure the enemies then got electrocuted by someone, when the fog cleared up Leonidas Spyro and Cynder looked up to the top of the staircase and then Spyro saw, “Volteer!!” The trio then started running up the stairs until again the Golems tail knocked another building over, luckily Spyro Cynder and Leonidas were able to get out of the way of the falling building. “It’s heading for the upper part of the city.” Cynder said. “The inhabitants are all sheltered there we can’t let it get any further.” Spyro said reluctantly. As Spyro and Cynder opened up the next chest, Leonidas broke a few health crystals and scooped a whole bunch of health mini-crystals in his wings and then dropped one wing-scoop over Spyro and his other wing-scoop over Cynder. As they went into the structure, the Golem came up and roared at them sending the trio flying. The Golem climbed up to the next level of the structure, and then Leonidas and co. followed. After a few seconds the Golem then tried squishing Leonidas and co underneath its enormous hand. Leonidas then blasted his light beam at the Golems hand and then flew up to the side of its head and then unleashed his light beam against the dark crystal that was on the left side of its face. Then the Golem checked its lip and then after a few moments Terrador could be seen coming in from behind as he said, “Look out.” Then Terrador came down as a huge ball of earth right through the chest of Golem, then when Terrador got close, he got too close, because the breath of the Golem made Terrador’s eyes roll into the back of his head and after a few moments Terrador gave-way and fell. When the Golem’s hand came down in front of Leonidas and co, Leonidas blasted his Light beam at the Golem’s hand and then teleported up to the crystal on the other side of the Golem’s face and then destroyed it and then the Golem scaled the building all the way up to the top. Leonidas then at that moment teleported himself and co. to the top of the building. At that moment Ignitus came down blasting a stream of fire all over the head of the Golem, when Ignitus was done he charged at the Golem, but the Golem was able to keep one leg on the structure and was able to back-hand Ignitus out of the sky and into the side of a tower and then slammed it’s hand into the floor of the structure in front of it. Spyro Cynder and Leonidas were able to quickly avoid the Golem’s hand and then Leonidas said, “It’s up to us now, if we don’t stop it here, it’ll destroy everything.” “Alright, I’m with you.” Cynder said. When the Golem roared it sent the trio flying again, and then when the Golem’s hands came down, Leonidas then blasted his Star beam into its hands, and then flew up to the Golem’s head and slammed his front paws into the Golem’s skull opening up where he saw another dark crystal. The next attack that happened was the Golem spitting lava balls out of its mouth and down onto the trio but every time missed, and whenever the Golem sent its hands down Leonidas unleashed another Star beam and then flew up above the Golem’s head again and then surrounded himself in Light and then drove himself right through the dark crystal breaking it, and then the Golem gave one last roar and then fell to its death bed below. As Spyro Cynder and Leonidas looked down at the fallen Golem they heard the beat of wings coming down and Spyro knew who it was because he said the name, “Ignitus.” Ignitus landed in front of the trio and said, “Young Dragon, you never seize to amaze me.” “We never lost hope that you would return, Ignitus made sure of that.” Terrador said. “I should have come back sooner, I let you all down.” Spyro said. “Spyro you can only imagine what could expect out of a Dragon your age, what matters now is that you are here, and what’s more, you’ve returned with your companions.” Ignitus said proudly. “Well it’s not like we had much of a choice, seems how we’re, stuck together.” Cynder said as the shackles appeared around the trio’s necks. Ignitus took a close look at the shackles and said, “Hmm, this device is foreign to me, Mason, what do you make of this?” Mason came up and also took a very close look at the shackles and then said, “Never have I seen such a thing, it has the mark of evil.” “Likely crafted by Malefor himself, I’m afraid we will not be able to remove it.” Ignitus said. “What, but there has to be a way.” Cynder said. “How can we fight back if we were meant to fight like this?” Spyro asked. Leonidas then let out a very loud whistle which could be heard throughout the city receiving everyone’s attention. Ignitus then turned his attention back to Spyro and Cynder and said, “Spyro, Cynder you two are lucky you have made it this far, do not view this chain as a hindrance, but allow it to be a reminder of the bond that you two share with Leonidas, all three of your destinies are now intertwined, and that thought, is a hopeful one.” Ignitus then looked to Sparx with a smile. Later that night, the group took a walk through town and Terrador said, “Momentum has swung to our side Ignitus, perhaps this victory will mark a turning point in this war.” “I’d like to believe that.” Ignitus said. Then out of nowhere a shadow form of The Dark Master appeared and he said, “Citizens of Warfang, congratulations, you shall be the first to witness the resurrection of the Destroyer, and the end of the world.” “Malefor” Ignitus said. The Destroyer was resurrected as everyone watched on and Ignitus said, “By our ancestors, what is that?” “The Destroyer has commenced its journey to form the ring of anilation, by the end of its journey; the belt of fire will spread across this world until it’s nothing but fire and ash, THERE WILL BE NO ESCAPE!!!” Malefor exclaimed. “The Destroyer, but that’s impossible.” Terrador said. “Ignitus, I don’t understand.” Spyro said. “Nor do I, the ancients believed that this creature was bound upon to bring about the birth of a new world.” Ignitus explained. “See that sounds like a good thing.” Sparx said. “By issuing its destruction.” Ignitus finished. “Oh” Sparx said. As they all watched the Destroyer beginning its journey Terrador said, “The beast moves to quickly, we can’t possibly catch up to it, a set out in pursuit would be useless.” “Then we shall wait for it to come back, and intercept it before it completes its circle, we must pass underground, if we’re to possess the element of surprise. “ Ignitus explained. The next morning, the first few members of the army were assembled at the gates for going outside the city then Mason walked up and said, “These gates were built as an exit to our city not for going back in, they have to be opened from the inside.” “Spyro Cynder, we’ll assemble the troops at the gates, now we’re counting on the two of you and Leonidas to get them open.” Terrador said. “But you must hurry, time is against us.” With that being said Leonidas and co. then looked up to the hole in the wall when Leonidas had his eyes still blood-red and his markings were still glowing while everyone else gave it the most serious look they could, and then after a few moments Leonidas teleported himself Spyro and Cynder to the other side of the gates.
---The Ruins of Warfang---
Leonidas Spyro and Cynder then turned and looked at the gates then saw that they needed to awaken four dragon statues, then he looked over to the right and noticed a huge picture of Malefor on the wall, you can see it clear as day. Leonidas decided then to go to the left and get those two crystals and get the two crystals on the right later. “It seems really creepy around here.” Cynder said. “Better be careful and whatever you do don’t look at what’s beneath you.” Leonidas said. Leonidas then landed and let Spyro and Cynder collect their energy, while he was still at both full energy and full health. After Spyro and Cynder were done healing, they all took off, and went around breaking each blue experience crystal, and red/green egg shaped crystal’s they could find. After a while Leonidas sensed a group of four shadows and then climbed up a wall and killed them. When Leonidas was done he glided back down to Spyro and Cynder and continued on. When they saw a chest Spyro and Cynder went and opened it and then joined Leonidas up on the next platform and out of nowhere a huge enemy came up out of the ground and then Leonidas killed it with one hit with his Star beam. After that two torches appeared when Leonidas and Spyro lit the torches they looked over to where the wall started moving and then noticed that there were four more torches Spyro lit two torches while Leonidas lit the other two torches. When the structure where the stone they needed was being pushed right down into a certain way so they could walk right up the structure. When the trio landed Leonidas then looked over to his right and noticed multiple shadows started coming towards them, Leonidas then started blasting them all with his black/white convexity breath killing them all in one hit. After that was all done and over with, Spyro grabbed the stone which then summoned a whirlwind above their heads they all jumped into the whirlwind and went back to the start. When they got to the start Spyro put the first stone in the first statue when Spyro placed the stone down, the statue awoken and another whirlwind formed above their heads, Leonidas didn’t go into the whirlwind he went back to the same place and went to the very last platform and watched as the Elite Enemy appeared, Leonidas let Cynder use her poison element to get the mask off of the Elite and then Leonidas finished off the Elite enemy with his convexity breath. When Leonidas collected all the experience points he teleported himself Spyro and Cynder back to the gates and then jumped into the whirlwind with Spyro and Cynder following him close behind. As they flew up Leonidas then sensed a huge group of shadow’s up ahead and then when the shadow’s started coming out, Leonidas then killed them all with one hit using his convexity breath. After Leonidas collected all the experience points, Cynder saw a shadow doorway that she could use her shadow element to go through and pulled the lever down bringing the other half of the giant Dragon key which was high above their head’s. Spyro and Cynder held onto the bottom of the key, while Leonidas started pulling the other half of the key while noticing that there were obstacles up above as well but Leonidas used his shadow abilities combined with Cynder’s shadow abilities and pulled them right through the obstacles and then brought the other half to the other half and looked over to the end and noticed the same thing was happening to the structure in front of them go down forming same ramps from the last structure. Spyro and Cynder then jumped down from where they were and then looked back and noticed that there was a certain spot where there was a huge hole. Leonidas stood on top of that platform above the hole and then he jumped up as high as he could and then went spiraling down into the hole and of course wherever he went Spyro and Cynder went too. When they landed they noticed that there was nowhere to go but forward, and they the wall behind them stated moving towards them, at that moment Leonidas teleported himself Spyro and Cynder to the end of the tunnel and went saw a red egg shaped crystal and then broke it open. After that, Leonidas teleported the three of them up to where the stone they needed was just sitting there waiting for them to take it. Cynder took this one and then another whirlwind appeared and the trio jumped into it taking once again back to the start. Cynder placed the stone by the second statue on the left and watched as it was awoken. Leonidas looked over to the picture of Malefor and took note that Spyro they should go around destroying experience crystals and killed all the shadows that they came into contact with. After the trio broke open all experience crystals they then had to go back to grab an orb, but before they could grab an orb, they had to lower down the platform which was high above their heads so while Spyro and Cynder turned the wheel Leonidas then killed all the shadows with only one hit with his convexity breath, after Leonidas killed the last few shadows, Spyro and Cynder had finished turning the wheel and the platform is now right in front of them, while Leonidas teleported themselves and an orb over to the final part of this floor and placed the orb down in the stone and watched as the ramps were made so that they could climbed them, but then out of nowhere another huge enemy appeared and grabbed the stone and put it in its teeth and Leonidas then instantly killed it with his convexity breath. Leonidas then cleaned off the stone and then put it in his mouth and noticed the whirlwind and jumped in it closely followed by Spyro and Cynder and then place it in the spot where the statue needed it to be, and then Leonidas watched as the statue awoken and then jumped into the next whirlwind as it appeared followed closely by Spyro and Cynder. When the trio landed they had to kill only four shadows and as soon as they saw them they killed them quickly, and Cynder climbed up to the a of a wall and watched as Spyro used his earth element to smash into the wall, but Spyro had to do it three times as Cynder jumped down and Leonidas caught her. Instead of climbing along the wall to get to the other side, Leonidas teleported himself Spyro and Cynder to the other side and broke the green egg shaped crystal and then they all jumped down to the floor below and then they immediately looked over to see a hole in the wall and saw Shadows coming out and Leonidas then blasted his convexity breath at them all and killed them collecting the experience points as Cynder climbed up the wall and then up to the roof and then, Spyro started to swing again and hit the wall three times in a row and then, Cynder dropped down and Leonidas caught her and then looked over to a set of vines and then burned them with his black fire and then smashed into the fake floor with his earth element and let Spyro and Cynder open the chest and then teleported to the opposite side of the wall and then Leonidas glided down and broke open the a red egg shaped crystal. Leonidas and co. walked closer to the structure even though it was already down and then a shadow came out of a hole in the wall and then a whole army full of shadows came from nowhere and started attacking the trio but Leonidas killed all the shadows with his Star beam. When Leonidas cleaned off the stone and put it in his mouth one last whirlwind formed above the structure and then instead of going through the whirlwind, Leonidas teleported himself Spyro and Cynder back to the start and put the last stone in the last Dragon statue as it was awaken. Then after a few moments the gates started opening allowing the Guardians and troops came into the Ruins and Leonidas Spyro and Cynder looked to each other and then Leonidas Spyro and Cynder started walking towards the end of the tunnel and then Ignitus said, “We are getting closer….” Ignitus looked to Spyro and then continued, “I know what you’re thinking Spyro, do not worry young Dragon, we’ll make it.” “I don’t get it, Malefor is about to destroy everything, but you seem so calm.” Spyro said. “I don’t take note of what Malefor tries to do, though it is he who should feel threatened.” Ignitus explained. “Why should he?” Spyro asked. “In the history of these realms, there are supposed to be three purple Dragons, though the second purple Dragon was taken by Malefor.” Ignitus said. Spyro and Cynder then looked to Leonidas. “Was the third purple Dragon, Leonidas?” Spyro asked. “Yes, it was me, though I never knew my true color was purple, I’ve only been living under the color of black, with some of the most powerful abilities in the universe.” Leonidas said. “You see Spyro, your power is quite different from Malefor’s, your power grows from saving people, though Leonidas’ power is what we don’t really know what it grows on.” Ignitus said. “Well, why should I be different from Malefor?” Spyro asked. “Unlike Malefor, your powers grow far greater and you won’t be able to be corrupted because your heart won’t allow you too.” Ignitus said as they finally reached the end of the tunnel and Leonidas quickly broke the last two experience crystals back at the beginning of the walk. “Here we are.” Ignitus said. As everyone came out of the exit of the Ruins of Warfang, they looked out in the distance and saw the Destroyer coming they’re way. “Whoa-ho, gotcha, err gotcha, whata, take that, squishy squishy.” “Oh keep it up Sparx, I think its working.” Cynder said in a mocking tone. “Sparx cut it out, now’s not the time.” Spyro said. “Now is never a good time.” Sparx said. Everyone watched as the Destroyer walked closer “How long do we have until it crosses the belt of fire?” Terrador asked. “We may have until mid-day, maybe less at that speed.” Ignitus said a little worried. Leonidas then took a very close look and noticed the Canyon in the middle and then looked over to the dam and whispered his idea into Cynder’s ear and then crawled over the side of the ledge quietly. “Spyro, how deep do you think that canyon is?” Cynder asked. “I don’t know, what are you getting at Cynder?” Spyro asked then looked over to the dam. “Cynder you’re a genius.” Spyro complimented. “I have my moments.” Cynder said, Leonidas rolled his eyes in annoyance. “Ignitus, if we fill that canyon up with water it may give us a fight chance against that thing.” Spyro said. “That may work.” Terrador said. Ignitus turned to everyone and said, “Listen to me, we must prevent that monster from escaping the canyon, no matter the cost every moment counts” “You heard the Dragon, LET’S MOVE!!” Terrador commanded. “We will give you all the time you need; the rest is up to you.” Ignitus said. Spyro and Cynder then took off and then Leonidas took off right behind them. “Let’s hope, this is enough.” Ignitus said quietly to himself.
---The Dam---
As Leonidas Spyro and Cynder were arriving at the Dam Leonidas was able to turn around in time to notice that there were reinforcements coming. So they pretty much had to get this done quickly. Cynder looked to the reinforcements and said, “Spyro, look out.” Spyro noticed the reinforcements and that’s when Leonidas did his part and blasted each wyvern with his light breath killing them all in one hit. “Is everyone okay?” Leonidas asked. “We’re fine.” Spyro and Cynder said in unison. “Good, let’s get a move on.” Leonidas said taking off going around breaking open each experience crystal or red/green egg shaped crystal, and then went to the supply cave of the Dam and then teleported to the first stone where Spyro and Cynder were waiting. When Leonidas placed the orb down on the stone he then looked around and saw that they were surrounded by a group of wyvern. Leonidas then took action and killed them all with one hit with his Star breath. After that Leonidas then took the orb back in his mouth then Cynder jumped onto the giant pulling lever and held onto it tight as Spyro and Leonidas pulled it all the way to where the water started to come out and moved onto the next one. When Leonidas put the orb on the stone the same thing happened again, and this time Leonidas once again took action and killed the entire wyvern group with one shot with his Star breath. Leonidas then lifted up the orb and then dropped it down in the water where it broke on contact with the water. Cynder then grabbed onto the giant pull-lever and held onto it very tightly while she was being pulled by both Leonidas and Spyro, when they heard a loud thud the water then started coming down. Cynder looked down at the flowing water and said, “It’s not enough.” “What else can we do?” Spyro asked. Leonidas then pointed up to the top of the Dam, and said, “We need to get to the top and let all the water out at once.” “I was just gonna say that.” Cynder said. “Of course you were little sis.” Leonidas said smiling. The trio took flight but before they went into the Dam, Leonidas looked over to the top of a platform where he saw a chest and teleported himself Spyro and Cynder up to it and after that was said and done they took off towards the open gate Spyro and Cynder went over to the wheel on their right side, Leonidas watched as they went up the left side when he noticed to experience crystals and quickly stopped the platform when he saw them and then quickly broke the two crystals open then nodded back to Spyro and Cynder letting them know that they can continued turning the wheel. When they reached the top Leonidas had Spyro and Cynder on his back and in one fluid motion jumped up to the highest platform and landed on his feet. When Leonidas walked out into the sun Spyro and Cynder jumped off his back and then Leonidas looked over to the huge enemy as it said in its monstrous tone, “Stop resisting and your death’s shall be slow and swift.” Then two other enemies appeared and then Leonidas instantly blasted his Star beam at them all killing them all in one beam. Leonidas walked through the tunnel with Spyro and Cynder close behind him, but when more enemies appeared in front of him the then formed a Star tornado and started going around killing all enemies his hit with either his tail or his wings. When he was done he then landed perfectly on all four paws and looked over to Spyro and Cynder who were just staring at him in awe. Leonidas then snapped his fingers snapping Spyro and Cynder out of their trance. Leonidas then pointed to a red egg shaped crystal on the other side of the shadow gate, Cynder went through the gate and pulled the lever down and broke the crystal open, then Leonidas saw an orb up in a small opening and pointed to it and then Spyro flew up to it and grabbed it. Leonidas then flew up to the next level and when he saw the next experience crystal he broke it open and saw another wall of earth Spyro then turned into his earth ball Leonidas then picked Spyro up and then whipped him at the wall causing it to collapse. When Leonidas saw the green egg shaped crystal inside Cynder immediately broke it open. Leonidas then smiled and flew up to the next platform closely followed by Spyro and Cynder. When they landed Leonidas looked over and noticed an Elite enemy was waiting for them, Leonidas blocked all of its attacks while Cynder got the mask off of it then, Leonidas killed it with his tail blade sending it right through the chest of the Elite. After having all the experience points come to him Leonidas then had Cynder grab the other orb, then had Spyro and Cynder climb onto his back and then he flew all the way to the top and then broke open the experience crystal that was up there. Spyro and Cynder then jumped off of Leonidas’ back and then both placed the orbs on the stones, but then they got surround by a whole pack of enemies, Spyro and Cynder quickly got underneath Leonidas and then Leonidas formed another Star tornado and started killing enemies left n right with his tail and wings. After Leonidas killed all the enemies, this time Spyro jumped onto the pulling lever and held onto it very tightly while Leonidas and Cynder pulled it all the way back until they heard one last huge thud and then the top of the Dam fell off and into the water with all the water that was on the other side following it, along with Leonidas Spyro and Cynder. When the water reached the canyon Ignitus looked to the water then yelled out, “EVERYONE TAKE COVER!!!” The Destroyer was up to its knees in water and then Terrador said, “Now’s our chance, ATTACK THE DESTROYER!!”
---The Destroyer---
Leonidas Spyro and Cynder then went to work and killed the first two enemies that got in their way and Leonidas then smashed the Dark Crystal that was emanating right next to them, they flew around the Destroyer’s body and found multiple experience crystal’s and so far only one red egg shaped crystal. Whenever there was a Dark Crystal in site Leonidas used his Star beam to destroy each and every one of them. When Leonidas Spyro and Cynder had to go to the back of the Destroyer, Leonidas used his Star Tornado ability to kill each of the enemies in only one hit. When Leonidas was done killing all the enemies he then broke open the rest of the experience crystals and destroyed the fourth Dark Crystal, Leonidas was waiting for the Dark Crystal down on the Destroyer’s wrist to appear, but wasn’t getting what he wanted Leonidas knew there was another Dark Crystal around here and knew exactly where to find it. Leonidas flew to the top of a certain pillar hanging underneath the Destroyer and found a chest for Spyro and Cynder to open and then they all flew across to another platform and smashed the fifth Dark Crystal then Leonidas finally got what he wanted and the sixth Dark Crystal down at the Destroyer’s wrist appeared and then he glided down towards it, but when he and co. were almost there a whole pack of enemies appeared. When Leonidas landed, Spyro and Cynder landed on Leonidas’ back and then he turned back into a Star Tornado and killed all the enemies and Dark Crystal’s in site. When a part of the Destroyer’s wrist fell into the water, Leonidas and co. flew up and started walking up the tunnel that was formed in it. When they finished walking through it, he then flew towards another red egg shaped crystal and broke it open for Spyro and Cynder. After that Leonidas flew up high enough to see the side of the Destroyer’s face and then looked over and saw two experience crystals and then teleported over to them and broke them both open at once, and then teleported Spyro and Cynder down to the last chest around here. Leonidas Spyro and Cynder went around and destroyed four other Dark Crystal’s and broke open an experience crystal along the way too. When they flew up top they all knew where the eleventh Dark Crystal was gonna be, but first they had to get through a whole bunch of enemies, so Spyro and Cynder hopped on Leonidas’ back and then Leonidas used his Star Tornado ability to kill all enemies with only a single hit. When the last few enemies appeared, Leonidas made short work of them and killed them right where they stood and then blasted a Star beam over to the Dark Crystal, breaking it on contact. Leonidas stopped with his Star Tornado and then flew into the hole in the side. Spyro and Cynder jumped off of Leonidas’ back and then Spyro said, “We can’t stop it from out here, but maybe….” “Whoa, wait, wait, wait, you’re not thinking about going in there are you?” Sparx asked. “Come on Sparx, were gonna need you to lead the way.” Spyro said. “Oh come on, ya know I always got your back, I just like complaining, let’s go.” Sparx said. Leonidas and co. made a quick stop in the Destroyer’s mouth to break open a green egg shaped crystal, luckily the last one. When Spyro Cynder and Leonidas then started floating down the Destroyer’s throat the caught onto a very strong breeze pulling them down into the stomach of the Destroyer but they were heading for the stomach, they were going to the heart. When they found it they noticed what they had to deal with first, a giant rock formation that was protecting the crystal. Leonidas then at that moment blasted his convexity beam at the giant rock formation and broke it down in its shape three times and then broke the last Dark Crystal on contact with his convexity breath, and then Spyro and Cynder quickly got on Leonidas’ back and held on tightly. Leonidas then took off at the speed of light quickly getting out of the Destroyer as quick as he possibly could and then landed in front of Ignitus. Spyro and Cynder jumped off of Leonidas’ back and looked to Ignitus. “For all your hard work young Dragons, you sure do know how to triumph in flare.” Ignitus said with a smile on his face. Spyro looked back to the Destroyer and asked, “What’s happening to it Ignitus?” “I don’t know it’s most peculiar.” Ignitus said. Some sort of Dark energy was allowing the Destroyer to move freely while it was in water; Ignitus couldn’t believe what he was seeing. “No, how is this possible?!” Ignitus questioningly exclaimed. As the Destroyer weakened the Belt of Fire, Spyro then asked, “Ignitus, what do we do know?” “There is no more that we can do.” Ignitus said. “Wait, but what about the others, still inside Dragon city?” Cynder asked. “The Underground Tunnels, Ignitus, there are multiple tunnels underground, we saw them, and we can lead them there.” Spyro said. “No, I need you Cynder and Leonidas with me, Hunter send your Falcon through the tunnels as deep as they can, QUICKLY!!” Ignitus ordered. “We have to face Malefor don’t we?” Spyro asked. “I see no other way, the belt has been weakened, and this maybe our only chance to breakthrough.” Ignitus said. “Yeah, if we aren’t incinerated first.” Cynder said cautiously. “Hey it’ll be alright, we’ve been through worse right?” Sparx asked. “Sparx, you can’t come with me.” Spyro said in a sad tone. “Spyro is right; you wouldn’t survive a second in there.” Ignitus said agreeing with Spyro. “But you need me.” Sparx said trying to change their minds. “Right know there are others that need you more.” Spyro said not changing his decision. Sparx then took a moment to gather his thoughts and then said, “Cynder, you have to promise me that you’ll look after him, we-we’ve been through a lot together.” Sparx said. “I promise.” Cynder said promising Sparx. Before flying off with Ignitus, Spyro turned around long enough to say, “Be careful Sparx.” “Hey it’s me, being careful is all I know.” Sparx said watching Spyro Cynder Leonidas and Ignitus fly towards the belt of fire. Arriving at the Belt of Fire, Leonidas Spyro and Cynder took a look around seeing no openings anywhere, until Ignitus said, “I should be able to offer some protection from the heat, stay close to me.” Ignitus said with a serious look on his face. Ignitus used his power to summon a shield to protect Spyro Cynder and Leonidas, but after a while Ignitus’ power would start to fade away but then put the shield back up and then Spyro finally said, “Ignitus, let’s turn back, there’s got to be another way.” “Spyro, Cynder, I’ve never done right by either of you, allow me to do this.” Ignitus said. “What are you saying?” Spyro asked very curiously. “My path ends here, but yours lies beyond this, draw strength from one another, and follow your heart, it will never fail you, now go, go, GO!” Ignitus demanded sending the trio out of the Belt of Fire and out onto the other side. “IGNITUS, NO!!!” Spyro yelled out. “Spyro stop, you can’t do anything for him now.” Cynder said wanting to calm Spyro down. “No, he isn’t gone.” Spyro said. “Spyro let it go.” Cynder said. “NO!” Spyro said turning into Dark Spyro. “No, Spyro no, don’t.” Cynder said. “YOU CAN’T STOP ME!!!” Dark Spyro said. “You’re right, only you can do that, please Spyro, don’t do this.” Cynder said. Spyro was able to calm down and turned back into his normal form. “We have to go on, he wanted us too.” Cynder said. “It wasn’t supposed to be like this, I feel so alone.” Spyro said sadly. “You’re not alone.” Cynder said nuzzling Spyro. Leonidas then whistled loudly and said, “Let’s go, we have to get going, I don’t want to be right here when our world come to an end.” Spyro and Cynder looked over to Leonidas and nodded to him and agreement and now the race to get to The Dark Master, was on.
---The Burned Lands---
As Spyro Cynder and Leonidas took off towards the volcano the Destroyer moved with every certain amount of steps they take. When they ran into a group of Grublins, Leonidas used his Star beam to kill them all, matter of fact Leonidas was starting to get a bit bored with killing all these Grublins. When Leonidas finished killing all the Grublins he then walked with Spyro and Cynder into what he knew was a trap but he didn’t say anything. When the walls went up, Leonidas then formed his Star Tornado and went around killing all enemies making short work of the enemies, causing the walls to go down. When Leonidas Spyro and Cynder went through to the next area they got boxed in again, this time Leonidas formed a Star Tornado that was two times as powerful as the last one he has been using, which killed all enemies in site. When the walls went down Spyro and Cynder walked closer to the edge and had Leonidas right behind them. “He’s up there somewhere isn’t he…...?” Cynder said gazing up at the volcano with Spyro and continued speaking, “I don’t know if I can go through with this.” “I don’t know either, but we have too, you said it yourself, if we don’t, then everything we’ve fought for, everything we’ve lost, it’s all been for nothing.” Spyro said. “Okay I’ll go, but only because I want to get rid of this chain.” Cynder said. “Come on, the air is too thick down here with all this ash, there’s probably an updraft near the volcano.” Spyro said. Leonidas looked out at the lands and was surprised with how badly burned everything was. Leonidas Spyro and Cynder went over to a small platform where a huge enemy was waiting before the enemy could even move Leonidas blasted his Star beam directly at it killing it on contact collecting all the experience points from all the other places Leonidas was about a one hundred thousand points away from MAX power. Leonidas broke open the next green egg shaped crystal and flew to another platform and when the trio landed they noticed that there was a whole bunch of enemies waiting. Spyro and Cynder went onto Leonidas’ back and held onto him tightly. Leonidas then formed another Star Tornado and killed every single enemy that appeared and when the last enemy appeared he hit the enemy only once and killed it and then landed on all four paws, and let Spyro and Cynder off his back. A chest appeared in the middle of the platform and Spyro and Cynder opened it was Spyro’s last piece of armor he needed to complete his armory and then he put all the red and black armor on which allowed him to use his Convexity breath. After that was all said and done, Leonidas and co. took off to a much higher platform and walked up into the opening that appeared the trio looked around and then looked to the Elite enemy in the back and this time Spyro had to use his electricity breath to get the mask off, when Spyro got the mask off of the Elite, Leonidas then blasted the elite with his Black/White convexity breath and killed it on contact. After the Elite got killed another red egg shaped crystal appeared in the back, Leonidas used his shadow hands to break it open and then left this area and went down to the low area and went around breaking experience crystals and red egg shaped crystals until they got boxed in once again. At first they went up against a pack of Grublins which Leonidas took out with his Star Tornado ability. When the two huge enemies appeared Leonidas used his Star Tornado ability again, and killed them both and then collected the experience points from all the enemies. Leonidas went over and broke open the last experience crystal in this part of this area, and then Leonidas and co. flew above the lava flow all the way over to the second part. Leonidas then sensed a Dark Crystal was around and then went over to it the area where the Darkness was pulsing from and quickly destroyed it when behind it was the very last chest and called Spyro and Cynder over to open it while Leonidas killed the enemies with his Star Tornado ability. Cynder had collected her last piece of armor to complete her armory. Then put her Black n Brown armor pieces on and her Convexity breath had been finally unlocked. Leonidas smiled and then took flight followed closely by Spyro and Cynder and then he climbed up the wall to break open a green egg shaped crystal then flew across to the other side and broke open the last green egg shaped crystal in The Burned Lands. Instead of climbing up the wall the old fashioned way, Leonidas teleported himself and co. up to the top platform. As they walked along they came upon a few enemies which Leonidas killed with only one hit with his Star beam. After that Leonidas Spyro and Cynder walked along a walk way that was very sturdy and broke open two other experience crystals along the way. Spyro and Cynder hopped onto Leonidas’ back, as Leonidas glided across to the other end, he sensed some trouble up ahead and had Spyro and Cynder stay on his back, this time as Leonidas walked closer towards the upward slanted ramp Leonidas then stopped and he was literally boxed in, but had plenty of room to move until two huge enemies appeared in front of him which he killed with his Star Tornado ability with one shot. After that was said and done the walls went down and two of the last four experience crystals appeared in front of him. Leonidas then let Spyro and Cynder off his back and let them go broke open the other two experience crystals while Leonidas broke open the two crystal’s in front of him. After collecting all twelve thousand points Leonidas was finally at MAX experience and took that moment to upgrade all his Elements to MAX power. After that was said and done Leonidas and co. then flew up to their next obstacle before facing Malefor.
---The Floating Islands---
As the trio came up into the Floating Islands Cynder said, “It’s beautiful up here.” When the trio landed Leonidas looked and then said, “The Tower leads directly to Malefor’s lair.” “Thanks for ruining the moment.” Cynder said. As three enemies appeared out of nowhere Leonidas, and then used his Star Tornado ability to kill them all in a single swing of either his tail, or wings. As Leonidas spotted an experience crystal on the top of the entrance to the tower and then flew up there going against the wind to break it open. After that was done, Leonidas flew around with Spyro and Cynder and lit all eight torches and broke open a lot of experience crystals and broke open the final green egg shaped crystal and another red egg shaped crystal but there was one more, but it wasn’t outside the tower, it was inside it. When Leonidas and co. spotted the seventh Elite enemy, Leonidas knew that this wasn’t the last Elite enemy, he could sense it inside the tower, but first let Spyro get the mask off of the Elite and then used his Star Tornado to kill it on contact of touching it with his wings or his tail. After killing the Elite, Leonidas and co. flew into the tower they quickly looked behind them and watched as the door shut on its own. Leonidas then had a chill sent down his spine and then continued on as Cynder pulled the lever down to open the door in front of them. As Spyro walked through the door a huge enemy tossed multiple huge boulders down in front of them trying to surround them but as soon as the boulders opened, Spyro and Cynder immediately jumped on Leonidas’ back as Leonidas then formed his Star Tornado and killed all the enemies that came near him and when the last enemy appeared, Leonidas moved his Star Tornado over to it and killed it as it came out of the ground and then a huge burst of fire went through and the whirlwind to the Dark Master’s Lair was right at the top of that wall and right through the wall, but at that moment Leonidas looked straight up and saw the last experience crystal and flew up and quickly broke it and then from up there he looked across the opening and saw the last red egg shaped crystal and flew over to it with Spyro and Cynder close behind him and then broke it open for them with a single swing of his right front paw. After Leonidas and co. jumped down and landed on the ground on this Island, Leonidas then looked in front of him and saw the last Elite enemy with a Shadow mask on then used his Shadow Fire get the mask off of it and then used his Star Tornado to kill it. After that was said and done, Leonidas Spyro and Cynder stood there at the mouth of the whirlwind to take them up to The Dark Master’s Lair and after a few moments they jumped into it and rode the whirlwind up to their final destination to confront the Dark Master himself. Leonidas had the most terrifying look on his face that even Spyro and Cynder were too afraid to look at him.
---The Dark Master’s Lair---
Arriving at The Dark Master’s Lair, Spyro and Cynder looked to each other and Spyro asked Cynder, “Are you ready for this?” “I’m scared.” Cynder said. “Just stay close to me.” Spyro said. When they walked into Malefor’s Lair, Leonidas was in front leading Spyro and Cynder inside with the most intense and frightening stare you could ever imagine to see. “At long last my guests have arrived, please come in, such determination to get here, seems we share other qualities besides that of our color.” Malefor said in his very Dark and Menacing tone. “No, I’m nothing like you.” Spyro said in a slightly frightened tone. “Do you think so, hmmm, we’ll get to that.” Malefor said “Don’t listen to him Spyro, don’t listen to anything he says.” Cynder said. “You look so weary, allow me to make you more comfortable, there that’s better isn’t it, it’s the least I can do for you Cynder, after all, you’ve done so much for me.” Malefor said taking the shackles off the trio. “You used her.” Spyro said as a reminder to Malefor. “I used her, she used you, what does it matter really?” Malefor asked. “What does he mean?” Spyro asked confused. “What he doesn’t know, hahahahaha, go on tell him, you mustn’t.” Malefor said darkly. “Tell me what?” Spyro asked suspiciously. “How she lured you into the Well of Souls, how she tricked you into freeing me.” Malefor said darkly. “You’re lying.” Cynder said remembering what happened. “Hmm, I find it peculiar how you’ve chosen to remember things, let me assure that it was you who freed me Spyro, and you who brought me back, and we have Cynder to thank for that.” Malefor said then evilly and darkly laughed. “Cynder, is it true?” Spyro asked. “No, I don’t know, I don’t know anymore.” Cynder said. “Oh I think you do, but perhaps you need a little nudge.” Malefor said trying to make Cynder remember her Dark history. “CYNDER!!!” Spyro exclaimed. Malefor then evilly and darkly laughed again. Dark Cynder looks to Spyro. “Cynder, no!!” Spyro exclaimed. “Ignitus should have warned you, you are alone here young Dragon, you have always been alone, but still, here you are still trying to save this miserable world, refusing to take the true role of the Purple Dragon, I assure you that I was the first of our kind, there have been many, I used my power to summon the Destroyer and the Golem of the deep to bring about the Great Cleansing, this is the true nature of our kind, your destiny is to destroy the world.” Malefor said direct most of his attention over to Leonidas during that speech still has that scary as hell look on his face. “No, I don’t believe that.” Spyro said not believing a word Malefor said. “Of course you don’t, you’ve fulfilled your destiny non-the-less but in my time, I was stopped, prevented from completing my quest, but you have carried the flame though through your own will or not, this world will be destroyed you along with it.” Malefor said very darkly. “No….” Spyro said in disbelief. Dark Cynder approached him and hit him in the face with her tail and said in a mixed dark voice, “Fight back.” Malefor evilly laughed while Dark Cynder hit Spyro’s wing perhaps multiple time with Leonidas watching this whole thing going down he could hardly hold his patients in and Dark Cynder said again, “Fight back, why won’t you fight back?!” “Because you’ve left me nothing to fight for.” Spyro said able to turn Dark Cynder back to normal, and then she walked up to Spyro and said, “There’s always something.” Cynder said. Malefor looked on in disgust and said, “So be it, you have made your choice and so you shall suffer the same fate, PREPARE TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Malefor yelled out loudly putting the shackles on Spyro and Cynder but didn’t bother putting a shackle on Leonidas. As Leonidas flew through the night sky followed closely by Spyro and Cynder he came face-to-face with The Dark Master, and the battle begins. “Are you with me?” Spyro asked Cynder. “I’m with you.” Cynder answered Spyro. At that moment Leonidas then used his Star Tornado ability to take out Malefor in one shot. After that Malefor went down beneath the clouds then appeared behind Spyro and Cynder going for a sneak attack, Spyro and Cynder were able to avoid it though Malefor went back to try for a second time but got caught with Leonidas’ front paws hitting him under the jaw. They all flew high into the sky and then Malefor said very darkly, “It has begun.” The Destroyer had reached its destination. “Oh no, we’re too late!” Spyro exclaimed disappointed. “Welcome to the end of the world.” Malefor said even darker than usual. At that moment the world began to turn into ash. Spyro and Cynder fell down onto part of the flooring to Malefor’s Lair and Malefor wasn’t done yet though Leonidas was in front of Spyro and Cynder, he was gonna protect them at all costs, until Malefor slapped Leonidas right across the face and flew right passed him. After Spyro and Cynder convexity slammed Malefor down onto the floor that’s when Leonidas quickly flew after Malefor with Lightning speed he was about to get his hands on Malefor until Malefor put up his convexity shield but then at that moment, Leonidas had had enough and then Leonidas finally snapped like Spyro and Cynder, Leonidas had a ball of Black n White convexity form around him and then blasted his MAX power Convexity beam at Malefor causing him to fall to the floor, Cynder charged up her convexity beam and hit Malefor with it, Spyro surrounded himself in convexity and then hit Malefor in the sternum. Leonidas didn’t do anything. As Leonidas glided down to the giant crystal below Malefor pressed Spyro and Cynder against the wall of the volcano, but not for long Spyro and Cynder then pushed Malefor’s giant paws off of their backs and then surrounded themselves in convexity and drove themselves into Malefor’s sternum going down to giant crystal below, Malefor was now in eye-site of Leonidas and then he said, “You cannot defeat me, I am ETERNAL!!” Malefor the fired his convexity beam at Leonidas, but Spyro and Cynder were able to cut Malefor off before it could even come close to Leonidas, then it became a battle of who had the stronger heart. “Just hang on.” Spyro said exhaustedly. Leonidas in the back slammed his front paws into the ground and then a huge ball of energy formed at his mouth and then after a few moments that ball of energy turned into a beam heading straight for Malefor. When Leonidas’ Omega Eraser got caught in the mix it got combined with Spyro and Cynder’s convexity breath and knocked Malefor out of the air and down onto his back. Malefor got back up and took a few steps forward and then, spirits of the Purple Dragon ancestors appeared and Malefor asked, “What is this?” The Purple Dragon ancestors came down at Malefor pulling him into the crystal, “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” Malefor yelled out in defeat. As the shackles around Spyro and Cynder’s necks are finally gone, and then the world started falling apart, and then Spyro and Cynder landed a few feet away from Leonidas, then Cynder said, “Spyro I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.” “Don’t be, it’s over now.” Spyro said. “So this is it?” Cynder asked. “Spyro, when a Dragon dies, he does not truly leave this world, his spirit lives on, binding itself with nature, offering hope for the future.” Ignitus said. Spyro then opened his eyes and looked to Cynder and said, “I know what I need to do, just get out of here Cynder.” Spyro said. “Spyro no, you don’t have to do anything, let’s just go.” Cynder said. “Where Cynder, there’ll be nothing left, the world is breaking apart, but I think I can stop it, I think I’m meant too.” Spyro said. “Then I’m with you.” Cynder said, Leonidas nodding in agreement. Spyro looked both of them and then covered himself in energy and then you can faintly hear Cynder say to Spyro, “I love you.” As Spyro energy surrounds the world and then started pulling the world back together piece by piece. Back with the Guardians they all came out and all had smiles on their faces as they all looked up into the sky they saw a golden figure that looked exactly like Spyro with two black figures next to him that looked exactly like Leonidas and Cynder.
---In the Chronicler’s Library---
The Chronicler looks on in his books as he sees the world being brought back together, and then turned his head and said, “Be welcome friend, I have long been expecting you, a New Age is beginning, with each New Age, a worthy Dragon is chosen to Chronicle the many triumph’s and failures of that age, this has been my duty for many millennia, and now Ignitus, I pass this honor to you.” “And, what of Spyro, is he?” Ignitus asked a bit worried. “Hmm, that is the question isn’t it, you see, each time a Dragon dies, a new page is written in this book, I’ve done my best, but I can’t seem to find any trace of Spyro.” The Chronicler said his last words as he passed the Chronicler duty to Ignitus as his scales changed from Orange to Aqua Blue. As the book floated over towards Ignitus he asked himself, “Well young Dragon, where might you be?”

Spyro and Cynder were officially Boyfriend and Girlfriend, but as Spyro and Cynder fly off together, Leonidas followed them, keeping his word to his father to keep a close eye on his sister.
