considering how close I follow this particular comic you did a fairly good rendition Zenia. Only one slight criticism, and its just me most likely, I also apologize for it before I mention it. Toshubi doesn't exactly look as dangerous as he normally looks. You've given him a friendly, open, and innocent look which doesn't fully go with the burning fire of vengeance that is his trademark. Sometimes that fire is a small flame, sometimes it is an intense firestorm. In either case that look of fire is always there. In this picture that flame isn't anywhere. His face is just too innocent. Other than that one item this is a fantastic picture with a great deal of character.

:3 I appreciate the comment, and don't worry you needn't apologize! I don't actually follow the comic, so I didn't know that little detail about him! However, when choosing between a fierce "how Toshubi got that back wound" action picture and a "relaxing for once with Jessica and enjoying a cup of hot tea" picture, The client chose the calm one. :) Thanks again for the crit though!

Don't get me wrong, its a great picture, it isn't exactly that he's fierce, when his original family was murdered in front of him it simply took something from his psyche. In doing so he became somehow less in some ways and far more in others. Losing his family stole some part of his humanity in a way. He's gaining it back in some ways because of Jessica, but at the point int he story where she sewed him up he hadn't begun to gain it back much yet. The pain of his loss, from his family to Jessica's mother who at the time had been freshly murdered was still raw to him and in some ways Toshubi strikes me as a tormented soul. In a lot of ways that torment shows in his eyes, the horror of what he has seen and lived with is always there when you look into them.
