Ouch! I've somehow lost 11 watchers ...Ordinarily I don't really care about this sort of thing (I've accustomed to seeing the numbers go up and down by twos and threes), but 11 watchers? And so abruptly?
This is what I get for spending the last few days building with Lego in place of tending my art gallery. So, in light of that...
...I guess I should make more art! XD
And it would seem I've drawn a roach (I suppose to reference my loss of popularity XD) Ah-ha, but not just any roach have I, for this one is drawn as those from Yoram Gross's *animated 'Dot and Keeto' film.
*cell animation with live-action
I want to say most of my watchers know Yoram Gross from his 'Blinky Bill' and 'Skippy: Adventures in Bushtown' series, but the 'Dot' films were a big deal, too (and there were many!), ^^
I'm not getting into what Dot was all about here (I'm saving that for when I eventually review 'Dot and the Bunny'), but suffice it to say I've seen almost every Dot movie that aired on The Disney Channel in the 90's, as well as a few others that were uploaded to YouTube (my favorites being the aforementioned 'Bunny' film and 'Around the World with Dot', AKA 'Dot and Santa Claus'). My absolute favorite Yoram Gross movie is 'The Camel Boy' ...which is not a Dot movie, so I digress. ^^
Either way, it's the roach we care about; what's the deal with it?
Well, in 'Dot and Keeto', Dot (a little girl) shrank to insect size after eating a plant infused with some 'Wonderland' magic. While seeking a cure, Dot got to see and learn about some of Australia's smallest residents, including the roaches 9whether she truly wanted to or not).
If the reader wants only to see the roaches, they appear at the 10:05 mark.
...now for some reason, I really want some Corny Bubbles. ^^
Anyway, hopefully this upload has reminded everyone that I'm still alive---if you like my art, there will be more (presuming the Lord allows, of course, but that should go without saying ...but I say it anyway).
Anyway (didn't I just say that?) ...Anyhow, I drew this ACO via a vintage Tupperware Home Parties pencil. This pencil is slim, has a round barrel (which is expected), and has a good drag with a smooth line (it's a better pencil that it should be). Now, this was a freehand drawing, which I went over a few times. Therefore, despite the relative quality of this pencil, it is smudgy. ^^
I chose this pencil so as to inform/remind my watchers that Tupperware will keep roaches away from your leftovers (didn't know that, did you? See, watching me is a good thing!). Yeah. ^^
