Eios, the capital city of Norland, a massive city in the valley, fully surrounded by mountains and forests, a full on city within nature and Ion's home town. It was founded by Ion's grandfather Isaac, after he and four other knights helped topple the crown of the massive oppressive country that stood here before when the citizens rebelled. That country was divided between the five knights who served as overseers so that it's citizens could finally prosper. Isaac claimed the northern portion, calling his land Norland and picking this massive valley to build it's capital due to the natural defenses of the mountains and the beauty that would surround it once it was complete. It took many years but the city eventually expanded and prospered becoming one of the beacons of hope after the civil war ended. Located in what was once called the Helios Valley, the city eventually became known as Eios by it's citizens. Though Ion's family's manor was built at the centre, he rarely stays there as he and Zephyr have their own home on a cliff side near a waterfall in the outskirts, a place that was important to them during their childhood. Ion does have his base of operations within the city and Eios is the main city for Norland Contract Hunters though Ion does prefer living closer to nature. One advantage of this is the great view Ion gets of his city, not far down from his cliff side, a view he always loves to take in
