It's amazing how nasty people can be when it comes to removing content. I'm sorry people saw fit to treat you so poorly, and I'm glad you had others who supported you. I sincerely hope that your troubles are far behind you, and that whatever the future might bring, it will only be positive. And don't let people make you feel guilty for deciding what to do with your art. I regret seeing artists feel they have to remove their work for any reason, but it's your property and you have a right to do with it as you see fit.

When I saw all your drawings disappear, without any journal explaining what happened, I immediately thought of a problem with the site. Then after days without new drawings and/or journals, I was worried because I thought something serious and sudden had happened.
I'm very sorry for what happened to you, but I'm also happy that you managed to get out of a very difficult situation with your head held high :)

Your work is unique- totally unlike anything else, in style and story. It would be a shame to lose someone like you over some rude comments. I do a comic myself, and this morning I found a PM in my inbox that was well, inappropriate. I'm not sure why doing content makes people think that they have license to say anything they please, without consideration for how it impacts the recipient. I'm sorry about those comments, I know how it feels to feel shamed for your troubles by others. I actually just got booted from one of my favorite artist's channels for bringing a "weird vibe" with me. I was very careful not to rub anyone the wrong way and even expressed how much I loved being there and how strictly i would follow the rulesafter being flagged for posting an "irrelevant" drawing by the moderator.
In the end, that artist helped me feel like there was something fundamentally wrong with me, an idea I've been working very hard on undoing, which has followed me my entire life. But remembering when he told me, "I want you to keep doing your artwork and see you improve", I remember thinking to myself,
"I don't care how sad and shocking this is. If you think you and your friends can take away my love for what I work on every day, then you think you have way too much power over me."
I hope you came to that same conclusion for yourself in the end

I dont understand how you can be forced to remove all your art. And I have negative vibes toward who ever did such an evil to you. Your a free person with your own rights and the freedom to express yourself should of never been violated. I'm sure there are reasons and circumstances, but no one should have that much control over you.
I think I'd be violent myself to anyone that said i had to totally erase my previous works.
I kind of hope people who have backed up copies of your work send you there copies so you can rebuild your gallery with old and new arts.

I remember a guy from FA who was blackmailed into deleting his gallery with the threat they would send a link to his real life employer... gosh, there are fuckheads out there who have nothin better to do than to harass people.
For those naggin about the deleted artwork, I can only say what I always say if such things happen on web comic sites: Be grateful for the free art/content/entertainment the artists provides and stop being toxic dicks, if you can't, just fuck off and watch another artist, period.

...but why would anyone be rude because you cleared your gallery? After all, it´s your decision alone. However, I´m glad you got over rough times and are okay. When it was necessary to remove your art, so it is. It´s not up to us to judge an artist for it. Here´s hoping the rough times really are over and done with. Take care, stay at home, protect yourself from Mrs. Corona etc. :-)
