The boys are in the yard, scrubbing off the pink dye from the errant bath bomb.
TASLI: "Oh no! Here comes Miss Ice Cream! I can't let her see me like this!"
*Tasli digs a furious burrow to hide in*
*Gene stands, grinning sheepishly as Miss Ice Cream walks by. We aren't sure what Miss Ice Cream is thinking (but I'm sure she'll tell us, someday)*
GENE (to Tasli, in the burrow): "She's gone, Tasli. You can come out now!"
TASLI: "No!"
*Gene removes his hat ...and pulls out a bunny!*
Well, that's one way to get Tasli out. ^^
Now, usually when cartoon animals get into trouble, all is over and well come the next comic. Gene and Tasli are no exceptions, save for when their watchers give feedback:
WATCHER: "So many visual gags are possible now that they made a mistake and turned themselves pink!"
WATCHER2: "Well, Tasli hiding in a burrow to preserve his boyishness intact, and Gene trying to make him come out is something I would like to see"
Well, I was in the mood to humor suggestions, so here ya go!
All right, so... pencil!
I drew this cartoon via a Musgrave 'Harvest', 2 HB pencil. It makes a thin, med-light line. Not hard to erase, good drag ...I prefer the Semi-Hex to this one, though this one is certainly superior to the Faber-Castell 'Columbus' in every way. :3
