Another single commission from ebonyplume, this time around, featuring Thadius doing quite a bit more than one is used to!
As some may know, but likely most not, Thadius, as stated in his ref sheet, does have a very last resort defense measure to deal with those that would seek to harm him. If given enough time to set it up, Thadius has access to a one time every 24 hour attack that he dubbed ice birds, which is a combination of the moves Psychic and Ice Beam.
Despite being far more submissive and overall one to avoid confrontations and combat when able, being far more geared towards support rather than offense, Thadius is rarely one to ever truly go the route of attacking someone, be it for self defense and never for offense. However should the situation arise and it's desperate enough, within a few seconds, Thadius can pull off a technique that many may consider almost unstoppable when first dealing with it.
Ice birds, as he calls it, is a powerful move that sends out a bevy of...well...ice birds that are controlled through his mind. The birds are strong and sharp, but also can reform into other objects and around opponents they collide with. Even when destroyed, the birds can come back good as new as well, leaving few ways to counter the move.
However, it isn't invincible by any means. Fire is a sure way to stop it, melting away the ice and preventing it from reforming. Thadius himself can't move an is rooted to the spot he started the move in as well. Lastly, the slowking sadly is no fighter and can't keep up such an intense move for long, causing him to tire out rather fast from it. And of course, the once a day clause.
Ultimately, it's a last resort option only meant for the most dire of situations. but you can be sure that if it calls for it, he'll use it. Assuming he gets the time of course~
--- I can't say how much I absolutely love this one of Thadius! It's great finally getting something of him showing off the move he's said to be able to do and has done once in writing haha! This came out incredibly well and I love every bit of it!
