Twitter has such an odd design. On paper, you'd think it might be beneficial - simply put everyone out in a flat and level playing field, with no walls and infinite horizon. Everyone can see everything, and we can all enjoy the view. But apparently when you dump everyone into this same flat and level field, they won't stay in jumbled harmony. They clump and group up, finding alike-minded fellows. They split into camps and cliques, and even though it's all just equally-set people on an equally-set field, the distribution becomes unequal and power over the platform is given over to those with the loudest (not necessarily most populous) of voices.
Some are there for humor, others for news, others for smut, and others for community. Twitter caters to nothing that isn't user generated, and since there are no walls, everyone must see everything else. And we all find that so very tedious, don't we? "Hey, I just wanted some memes, what's all this political bullshit?" "Hey, I just wanted to see the news, why's my feed being shit up with tiddies?" "Hey, I just wanted to find other like-minded fellows, why am I seeing the communities of people who oppose me and who I oppose in turn?" So the infighting begins. Hashtag NotMyTwitter. People brigade and demand an end to such things. And why wouldn't they? Clickbait News? Toxic Politics? Controversial Smut? A sense of Camaraderie? That simply won't stand, not if we have anything to say about it.
Hell, merely making this journal post is halfway to proving my own point, sadly enough. Here I am, soap-boxing about how shitty Twitter is, which is tantamount to something you might see on Twitter. Social media is garbage. If it isn't the pain of the stuff laid out above, then it's an endless barrage of algorithmically-generated advertising meant to turn your attention into a monetary commodity; though that's a whole diatribe in itself.
Javi, just get rid of it. At least if you're attempting to find friends and allies; there's certainly better ways.
[Oh, and if anyone thinks I'm calling out their particular social tribe in this post, kindly fuck right off.]

Basically what happened to me looking for support anywhere online. And yes, I tried real life. Both had the same response. That I don't REALLY exist, but at thew same time, I DO, and I need to STOP existing.

Kinda sad how we all pry for diversity, yet can't seem to stand the fact that people have differences be it WHAT they are, or more importantly: different forms of thoughts.
