I like shirts, and I like cartoon animals. Moreover, I like obscure cartoon animals, and if said obscure animals come with shirts, well, that just beats it all!
Todays's shirt-wearing character is Pammy the Panda, from Hanna-Barbera's 'Shirt Tales' series.
Like many of HB's characters, the Shirt Tales often engaged themselves in crime fighting and mystery solving (undercover, of course). And as is also common in series like this, the Tales had a human 'frenemy' (Mr. Dinkle the Zookeeper) who would often get in the way of the Tales' endeavors.
The Tales hadn't any superpowers or anything---their main gimmick were their shirts would flash messages, often expressing their respective wearer's seniments (messages like "Wow!", etc).
I haven't watched a Shirt Tales episode for several years now, so I don't recall too many specifics, neither have I much of an opinion pertaining to the series or its characters---just knocking stuff off my draw list here. :3
