Ion and Zephyr confronting an enemy on a hunt in the clothing they wear since they were about 20 (They are both currently around 25). When Ion was 18, he sustained a serious injury which took his left arm and almost disemboweled him, taking about 2 years to recover from that and all the surgeries that followed including the grafting of his mechanical arm. As their older clothing was less protective, they decide to better equip themselves for the hunts ahead. Ion also having lost his sword that his father gave to him from when he was a kid during the injury, had to forge his own new blade which he continuously customizes to adapt to his mystic abilities
Ion and Zephyr have been great friends since their childhood, although they started on rocky ground, after Ion protected Zephyr from some fiends, they became quick friends and even more over the years they spent together. At 14 when one of their other friends, Flint dies of a childhood disease, they both left home and started on a journey of discovery together. They eventually find a master who trains them to home their natural abilities and helps them join the Contract Hunters. Ion and Zephyr create a Hunter group called RavagerSoul and eventually other members join them on their journey. Although contracts can be taken by the whole team, in groups or individually, Ion and Zephyr almost always Hunt together and one cannot be found too far from the other. If you are cornered by these two, you better not be on the contract they are after, as these two have an almost perfect record together, and there is no escape
