Alright everyone. So it's been a while.........I think my last submission was uploaded about 3-4 months ago or so. Jeez.......Sorry I haven't been really consistent with my fan-art. But I'm HOPING this year 2020, I'll be able to make A LOT more fan-art related artwork.
And this is also my FIRST fan-art of the new year 2020. And there will be more to come. And hopefully MUCH more than last year. I think last year I only made 3 or 4 fan-art related artwork......? Yeah, I definitely need to step it up a notch or so. So, lets see if I can do it this year.
And well, this is a start lol. So this week, I've been watching a couple "Baby Felix And Friends" episodes. Which gave me some inspiration. I have a little question: Has anyone ever watched an old cartoon they used to watch, and it re-gains their inspiration? And remember WHY you loved that cartoon in the first place?
Well, that scenario happened to me this week lol. After watching this cartoon a little bit, it was enough inspiration and motivation to try and draw a little something. And this has been an idea that I've had for QUITE a few years now. I've drawn a few "Best Friend Moments" with Baby Felix and Mookie. Which sometime, I PLAN to re-make some of those drawings. Since my drawing skills have gotten a lot better over the years, since I first drew those back in 2014.
But back to this, so this was something that's been in the plans for a LONG time now. And well, 6 years later I'm FINALLY getting around to it. Man, I really need some help or something lol. Sorry I couldn't draw this sooner, but I got it done now. So, I guess that's all that matters.
And honestly, I don't think it came out how I really wanted either. Mostly considering the fact that I made a TON of mistakes on this drawing. First off, my eraser SUCKS........I really need a new eraser. In some cases it makes the problem even WORSE, like in this case. So I apologize for all the mistakes done on this.
And also, my energy was also sorta out of whack when I drew this. So I kinda rushed it and didn't pay attention to "finer details" if you know what I mean. So the drawing could have probably came out WAY better. But, this is good enough for now. And overall, it still looks good enough to show you all.
So without further-ado, here's the finished end result. So, here's a cute "Best Friend Moment" of Baby Felix And Skippy from "Baby Felix And Friends", being the friends that they are lol :3
I don't want to give out too many spoilers to those who haven't seen the cartoon. But in the series, Baby Felix and Skippy's relationship is as strong as it looks to be. With them being the "Strongest" and "Bravest" of all the characters, these two make a great team together. Plus, they back eachother up in all scenarios. Which is pretty cool to see, considering it's a kids show.
Anyways, I better stop talking there. So what do you all think? Again, didn't come out the best. But it looks okay enough I suppose. And I figured everyone would still like it. And hey, it's a NEW submission! So what more could anyone ask for lol. Anyways, I hope you all like it, and thanks very much for viewing! MORE to come soon hopefully!!
