The remake wasn't that bad, just falsely advertised with scenes that weren't in the movie and most of the cast weren't even involved in the making of the trailer only scenes.

Tips for self defense against that Garret dragon is to strike him with a frying pan while he's not looking. Be prepared to use your cardio running skill if you're being chased. It's best if you have more than one group.
