12 - 28 - 2019  For now, this is posted in the scraps of my utility account.

This will be a view inside a 1960 Chevy with a ferret teen couple speeding home from being out way overdue on a date at about 2:30 am. I've been struggling with the proportions to have it look right...I believe the right looks will come into being when I get the dashboard details drawn in.

There's a partly transparent colour treatment on Paint.net I use to give a drawing the night time effect. Then I'll brighten up what's lit up by the car head lights, and the gauge illumination on the instrument panel...Semi-transparent streaking will be applied to nearby objects ahead and grass (including the lines in the highway looking like blurred dots) to portray the high speed effect.

12 - 29 - 2019  I've added a 2nd pic showing progress from yesterday.
The hood is widened slightly. And since I've begun the dashboard, it seems like it is shaping up to how it should look.

12 - 29 - 2019  6:51 pm EST  Since I've added these latest dashboard details in the added 3rd pic, it's coming along pretty good now.

12 - 29 - 2019  10:22 pm EST  Pic 4 shows the drawing is coming along pretty good. By now, there's no guess work knowing how fast the car is going...And how late it's getting (Night treatment will be applied to the finished drawing.

12 - 30 - 2019  7:49 pm EST  Even if I don't say so myself, pic 5 does show it's coming along lookin' good, lookin' good.

While drawing this today, I looped two songs for inspiration. The songs are not actually from the era around 1960, rather they are 1990s doo-wop revival songs;

12 - 30 - 2019  8:42 pm EST  In pic 6, I improved the knobs on the radio. The dorky way they looked in pic 5 was buggin' me to banana-ville just looking at them.

1 - 1 - 2020   4:35 pm EST  In pic 7, I got the steering wheel drawn in. It's coming right along.

1 - 1 - 2020 9:05 pm EST  Pic 8, and it's coming right along. It is taking me a long time to do this one. But then, look at all the detail.

1 - 2 - 2020 7:45 pm EST  What's in pic 9 is everything completed on the car itself.
That could be a completed pic in itself. However, it is still going to be developed into being a further drawing.

1 - 4 - 2020 4:33 pm EST Two final pics are added to this posting. In my moyomongoose account, I am planning to post a version of the high speed night drawing with a teenage ferret couple out late on a date well beyond the time they were told to be back home.
