I would be the one to lay on the track with my camera rolling while it rides over me.

Pretty risky.

There are lots of teens and young adults in India who do that.

The closest I'd come to it would be to anchor a camera to something heavy enough so the camera doesn't get knocked over or sucked up (a piece of 1/2 steel plate), then place it between the rails before the train gets there.
