Some vent art on the whole COPPA situation on YouTube. Yes it has affected me since I had to mark three videos on my oldest YouTube channel as "made for kids" to make sure I protect myself from the FTC. Remember, from now on if its a cartoon character (which in the eyes of those that don't know what furry is will think a fursona is) or if you do animations which the three old videos I had to mark are (Including "Candyicious" staring Bri the Raccoon) you may have your YouTube account terminated or worse yet the FTC will come after you directly and nail you with a 42,500 dollar fine per video. Obviously I am currently weighing my options for a safe place to set up shop for my video sharing front, because Youtube ain't it anymore.
Oh and as a side note, I have opted to draw my character in the prototype style. He is much easier and quicker to draw. If I draw him like this on a regular bases I think I will be able to quickly bang out drawings of Tamias in quick secession, which is exactly what I want.
