Okay folks. Since it has been 30 years of chipmunk for yours truly and to set myself in the new direction I want to be heading into, I am thinking seriously of giving Tamias the Chipmunk a design update.
So this is an experimental prototype I put together to try out a more simplified design that is sleeker and all about lightness, speed, agility....and cheekiness fitting of the chipmunk he is. Secondly from an engineering standpoint, this prototype is geared for mass production more so than one off drawings as seen in the simpler line work, paired down native outfit and accessories. Lastly I wanted to add in the chest tufting to match the same feature B3 Mascots included on my fursuit. Since I would like to eventually do comic pages featuring my character and his world, I need to be able to quickly bang out drawings of Tamias. A simpler design is more conducive to that endeavor.
Remember folks, this experimental prototype is not set in stone. Nothing will be until I get to a point of drawing and posting a new ref sheet. Let me know what you think.
