I was so worked up about getting tumblr back yesterday! Tumblr was my home. I’m so happy to be on my main account again. I know there’s a lot of negativity to the situation, but I started using tumblr in 2010, and maybe didn’t use it a ton until 2012 or so. I spent most of my 20′s using this site. I’m 31 now. I made so many important friends here, and life changed so many times, a ton of big phases and projects happened here! Even with all the change, I’m happy to be here again.
It’s not all perfect - I can’t look far back in my blog without things crashing or messing up. i can’t check the years of tags I organized. I wasn’t really searchable before and I’m still not. Folks can only check my page through the side-browser. My icon’s an ugly triangle. But hey I think I show up on the dashboard so there’s that. (: And I post in plenty of other spots if you need a good place to find my work. (Twitter, tumblr, and social sites are bad art galleries.)
A lot of my friends didn’t get deleted, and a lot left. Only a few of us that wanted to stay got deleted, so I’m not sure others will really understand what a big change it was. But I’m glad Lighty and myself eventually got our pages back, hopefully others will too. (: The hole I felt in my life all year’s been filled. <3
