The year is 1960. Sheldon Wolf is the owner and independent operator of a 1959, Mack, B series, tandem axle semi tractor (one year old truck at the time). Sheldon Wolf lives just outside Denver, Colorado with his wife, Tammy, and two cubs Gwen and Jeremiah. Sheldon is among a number of truck owners who are contracted by Great West Auto Transport to haul new cars from a rail yard in Denver to be delivered to various dealerships where the rail line does not go (Great West owns the car carrier trailers, and hires independent truckers to supply their tractors). The runs Sheldon Wolf usually makes are to New Mexico, and occasionally to parts of Arizona or Texas.
There will be a little skit about Sheldon Wolf at the last section of the next part of my ongoing story, Clarence Coyote and Project Courier.
