A few nights ago, I was doodling out some quick sketches of the earliest generations of automobiles during the time era when automobiles were becoming common place.
There was no real reason I had for sketching them. It was just a spur of the moment thing with nothing else to do.
However...Rather than to let the sketches evanesce out of existence into eternal obscurity, I went ahead and posted them in my scraps.

Tonight, I will begin work on Part 24 of the story I have ongoing, 'Clarence Coyote and Project Courier'.

You don't really come to appreciate these fully until your driving them, then you'll also appreciate how far we've come.

Sometimes you need to learn how to stop before learning to accelerate *smiles*

They must have gotten it backwards on the notion of, "You can't stop unless you first go".

Doesn't sound too far off from how Clarkson and company tend to do things, hehe.

I'm pretty sure, thousands of years from now, if there is a civilization on Earth, they will use cars to date ours.

Same as we can identify how old an archeological site is by looking at the style of the pottery, which changed with time, future archeologists will have a science that studies the different profiles of cars in order to quickly identify what decade an image is from.

On that note, I use to ponder back in around 1980 what future archaeologists would think if they knew what time era the 1960s cars were from, then wonder why crappy era cars made on about 1979, 1980 and 1981 were built 10 to 15 years later but yet inferior to the cars built earlier...Like everything took a step backwards.
