So, after quite a few unfortunate developments from his solo expeditions, Thadius went back to relying on escorts to help with securing the items he aims to obtain. Naturally, Thadius wasted no time in agreeing and taking the crew with him, as a group of such big, strong pokemon like that would certainly be effective in keeping any feral pokemon at bay while they explored the ruin Thadius wished to go to! If nothing else, the three certainly loked intimidating enough on their own. Overall, it set itself up to be "a walk in the park" if you will!
The group set off, with the crew proving their strength admirably enough, as the walk was fairly smooth sailing with very few pokemon blocking the way. The few that tried were easily dealt with as well, so all in all, things were looking up. That is, until the crew led Thadius to a dead end inside the cave.
The overweight slowking wasn't even given time to question the odd detour before a quick punch across his face was delivered, curtosy of the zard on the team.
The next few moments afterwards were agonizingly long and painful, as the three pokemon beat the naive slowking,injuring him to the point where he likely would be unable to follow them.
