Fuscio roared as he swung the Lightning Wispon in a wide arc, the electric energy crackling and lashing out against another squadron of robots. "Dis is ridiculous!" he snarled. "Robots are everywhere 'ere!" "There's only so many of them!" Midnight encouraged, holding tight to Corey's hand as he activated the Wispon. Thankfully there were enough capsules inside to charge it up once they got out of the back exit. "Corey, you got the beacon going, right?!" Damn, he forgot how heavy bears were! Thank Chaos he'd been practicing... "Yeah, it's still going! Someone should get here sooner or later!" He replied before pulling the trigger, sending a large fireball screaming towards the trio of pawns trying to shoot them down. "But we got it under control so far!" The sunset sky was filling up with smoke from the burning factory towers and the robots they'd demolished, including one Death Egg Robot that was crumpled into a heap in the distance. At the least, if the beacon wasn't getting anyone's attention, the sight of battle would. Well, Fuscio had to give them credit, they were determined. It was why he was a part of this team, really. "Well, dey bet-ter 'urry up! We still 'ave plans tonight, no?!" He'd be pissed if they were forced to go to a hospital over this abrupt interruption! Just thinking about missing out on heading to the new movie had him howling as he spun on his heel, the lightning crackling against an energy shot that had been coming from behind. "Midnight! More are incoming from de rear exit!" "Dammit... Corey, get to ground! I'll handle these suckers!" Nodding, the larger bear let go and came down hard, fists smashing into the chassis of a larger pawn before a stream of fire took a group of ten out. The hedgehog let out a sigh of relief and snapped his fingers, the cork on his canteen popping off. Water oozed out and swirled around before solidifying into a ball of ice, which was quickly launched like a guided missile of a hailstone. The projectile crashed into the metal and penetrated the circuitry, causing it to destruct in nanoseconds. "You guys keep driving them back! I'll hold them off at the rear!" "Don't take too long!" Fuscio grunted out, taking a breather to massage his shoulder. He didn't see any other robots within range, but that would likely change soon... they had to figure out where they were coming from. This may not have been a battle they planned for, but they'd finish it out just like any other. |
