asked me if I had any thoughts of Rob's brother that was somewhat hinted at in the comics (through mentioning of Anti-Rob having a brother), and just like that my brain kicked into gear!
Meet Gilbert (Gil), first-born son to King O'Hedge and older brother to Rob O'. As yet another carrier of the birthmark, Gil is destined to be the next king unless he decides to decline. He's equally pampered by King, though he can't help but feel bemused at the more intimate relationship his father and brother have.
During the siege of Mercia, Gil is lucky enough to be taking private lessons in a different town. Upon hearing his father has disappeared and Rob has led the citizens to safety in Deerwood Forest, he is forced to go into stay in the town until everything blows over, as there's no militia there to build up a rescue army. But he remains confident his little bro has things under control, becoming a king of his own, something he's a touch envious yet proud of him for.
Unlike his father and brother, Gilbert carries the rarer pink coloring of his family, the same color that his cousin Amy has. He also has one long bang made of thin quills that have an unnaturally sharp bend, and his quills are also longer. He still has the same golden eyes as his father, and dresses in a similar outfit, though in white, and a pair of dress shoes to go with it.
He's a more no-nonsense type, just like his father, but lacks the merciless nature, thanks to being more understanding of how people act the way they do. Once Mercia is reclaimed, he plans to make sure he ushers the kingdom into a brighter era.
This boy turned out to be a real cutie! I wanted to give him a sort of more bishie appearance, hence the bang... I really don't know what I'd have his sexuality be though.
I am so happy to see you're extending this lore and family! Plus as you mentioned, adding in the pink gene to align him with Amy as well as Rob. He sounds like he has his head screwed on right, probably likes his luxuries but isn't selfish, unlike Rob who is as down to Earth as they come (maybe, that's just where my head went with this)
(Also, weird coincidence, I've just design a pink male hedgie with one long bang, who would be genetically linked to evil "Gil")

Awww! I'm glad you like how I made him! ^^ And yeah. I was debating strongly on if he'd be a good prince, or vengeful because Rob never made to look for their father. But in the end I just couldn't see him as the type so I made this 'middle ground' bab.
Debating if I should do more with him, but I can't decide what X'D
