Species
Takir which is a race from the Albion series. The nearest comparison is the North American mountain goat but there are some notable differences (read below)
Character Description
Though having the physical appearance of a goat the takir are in fact evolved from Sammu's planet's equivalent of the tree kangaroo as opposed to our planet's primates.
Hanz has direction hearing which gives him the ability to hear the tiniest noises from far away but it has to be focused on a target so he can't hear around him. Counter to that he has 360 vision but it can be a hindrance in bright light.
Hanz being a goat has a thick skull and can take a pretty had whack to the forehead which gives him the ability to wield it as a weapon. Also having armored digits helps in delivering strong punches and kicks.
He can also eat various poisonous substances which is common among Takir, mostly plant-based poisons and irritants but also thinks with high salt content such as saltwater for example.
Unlike a real goat the takir only have 4 stomach, don't ruminates, can't projectile spit clumps of vomit and don't have stomachs strong enough to crush a human hand, however not being a goat he's not likely to develop colic or bloat or contract ruminant morbillivirus AKA the goat plague, which is a variant of measles that can be deadly to cattle.
-----
The character was invented by a person actually called Hanz Britches from a website called Land of Lore.
When the Sammu fandom took off it was quickly followed by a separatist fandom known at the time as Lore of Caprini Online which was a fandom based around a goat-themed variant of the already popular Boviverse game trend itself inspired by a show about technicolor horses.
This new community attracted people from outside these fandoms and one such individual was the little ball of chaos that is Hanz Britches (the real life person of same name).
They quickly grew in popularity and after I, John Samer, was roped into working with LoCO, we formed a friendship leading to their persona's appearance in my Albion series as an old friend of Sammu Tireundashi (Sammu Wamm in the main canon).
This then lead to their inclusion in the main canon of Albion and subsequently the Oasis series and although a little old hat now they're still a staple of the fandom.
-----
Like many of the people in John's apartments and the Sammu crew, Hanz was roped into working for Sammu after he convinced them to join.
In Hanz case it was because Sammu needed a demolition expert which was Sammu talk for a chaotic maniac with a death wish and way too much firepower.
Sometimes you need to just run in guns blazing just to win ground and Hanz is definitely the kind of guy that would sign up for that whilst everyone else plugs their ears and waits for the exploding to stop to see if it's safe to go back into the field.
Hanz was actually a pretty significant member of the crew because unlike the others his abilities work in a more direct situation where action is need like was the case when John's apartments came under attack by a rival criminal gang.
However in most situations Hanz do or die headlong rushing into things has been more of a hindrance than a help. However no-one wants to be without him should the worst happen.
-
Hanz loves firepower so he normally comes armed with possibly a few pistols and grenades hidden under his shirt.
In his own time he likes to look after his extensive collection of weapons which includes machine guns, cannons and various other kinds of explosive launching devices.
He keeps these in the apartment he shares with Harold much to his dismay as Hanz weapon hording takes up much of the living space.
Hanz has very much a passion for his things and really doesn't like people touching his stuff. He also completely fanboys over rare and usual guns.
Often strapped for cash from an impulse spend on something dangerous he doesn't carry around a wallet or any cash but miraculously despite his inability to use tech that well which frustrates him he does carry a smart phone around at all times which he uses well and somewhat obsessively to keep up to date with his web communities.

Relatives/Family
The Britches family tree in character is as mysterious as the character's owner's in real life.
The real Hanz wasn't adopted but raised by a family friend of their birth parents who lived just down the road from them in Portsmouth, England after his birth parents vanished without a trace one day leaving little baby Hanz in their care.
He grew thinking they were his parents using their surname until he was old enough to be told the truth at which point he adopted the real surname.
They'd prefer it if you didn't ask them about their family as now they live alone and have their own life (yeah it gets complicated).
-
The character just like the real Hanz has a family who raised them but they are not their birth family.
Hanz the character left both potential lives behind when they went out into the world and gathered a warrant for their arrest. You can imagine how that happened.
After being arrested Sammu added him to the Sammu crew and they've been like family ever since.
World/Setting
To all intense purposes the main canon Hanz belongs to is almost a carbon copy of the real world. For that reason Hanz often takes human form in public but around John's apartments where everyone is his friend and knows his secret he can be found in goat form. Similarly when in the club he frequents he may take goat form as long as only him and the fellow members of John's apartments are present, which is often the case.
Hanz can also appear in other canons by using the teleporting door of The HORS Hotel to hop dimensions, in which case the laws of that world apply, apart from anything that changes the Hanz persona into something it's not.
In these kinds of settings it might be normal for anthropomorphic animals to exist so Hanz will take the form of a goat if that's the case.
It's important to remember that Hanz wont suddenly develop forward vision or become planarian variant like Sammu even if you want. He is who he is and you gotta just live with that.
Body
Appears to be a mountain goat kid with white fur all over, brown eyes, black horns and black hooves.
Hanz can use his hooves much like hands and that includes his hind legs. He has 2 digits at the end of the palm and something resembling a thumb on EACH side of the palm. These 'thumbs' become the rubber nubs that goats have behind their hooves when they cross his palm so he CAN walk on them.
Even when quadrupedal Hanz has the same mobility in his shoulders and hips as humans do and can rotate his wrist as much as humans too. However his ankles don't have the same mobility as his wrists.
Hanz is comfortable on both 2 and 4 legs. He can even use his grasping feet to wield weapons and grab people when in a handstand or climb up things without the use of his hands.
Clothing
Hanz usually wears the same deal day after day.
A red knitted sweater with black horizontal stripes that continue as rings down the sleeve.
And dull blue jeans.
It's worth noting that Hanz doesn't wear shoes in his goat form and the pants stop at his ankles which is the backwards pointing bend in his leg. Bare that in mind when drawing him.
His clothes will change their shape somewhat to adapt to his shifting form so that they don't rip or fall down. However this may only apply to his default outfit.
