Character Sheet for Soubi Petalfeather (Soubi Ironstone in the Oasis series) [Soubi is pronounced 'sue bee']
Nickname(s)
Soubs, prefers not to be called Sue
Species
Takir which is a race from the Albion series. The nearest comparison is the North American mountain goat but there are some notable differences (read below)
Age
Probably around his late 30's or early 40's. Wishes he was younger though. Physically he's built similar to a child due to his pituitary dwarfism.
Character Description
Soubi was human form until an accident (see backstory) forced Sammu into using his crux ability to revive Soubi resulting in Soubi taking the physical form of Sam.
Though having the physical appearance of a goat the takir are in fact evolved from Sammu's planet's equivalent of the tree kangaroo as opposed to our planet's primates. However Sammu himself is an impersonator of that species.
Sammu is in fact some sort of planarian (flat worm like) in a rough stickman shape with armored skull and digits. This means his actual body is much narrower than his build and it's due to thick hair that he resembles a shape with more bulk.
Because Soubi adopted this body he has all those traits and he also acquired Sammu's healing factor. Being a planarian Soubi can in fact heal any part of his body as long as the rest of him is still alive.
Soubi's planarian side like Sammu also gives him the option to breathe orally or through his skin making him difficult to suffocate, especially since with either method he can breathe underwater.
Being a true planarian he also has no heart and relies on movement to circulate his blood though he can stay still for hours without harm by putting himself into a state of stasis similar to hibernation.
Soubi has direction hearing which gives him the ability to hear the tiniest noises from far away but it has to be focused on a target so he can't hear around him. Counter to that he has 360 vision but it can be a hindrance in bright light.
A major difference between Soubs and Sam is the fact that Soubi is nowhere near as difficult to harm as Sam is. Soubi isn't deliberately bulletproof and blade-proof for example.
Bullets wont ricochet off Soubi's head like with Sammu, they will penetrate like a regular bullet striking a regular skull however Soubi's forehead is still thicker like a goat's so he can still take a heavy whack to it.
Bullets and blades might still pass through Soubi without causing harm but not because Soubi is physically drawing his body away from where the weapon is aimed, it's just still hard to hit unless you strike dead center.
Soubi of course can be cut easily by blade swings and having not much in the way of tough flesh or bones being severed is a likely outcome.
However it's not all doom and gloom for Soubi. He does have a useful ability of his own, superhuman strength, and unlike Sammu doesn't need to keep returning to water or hunger for salt to sustain himself.
Soubi's level is strength is more than simply superhuman. He can if need be destroy entire cities with a single punch.
He may not have to use that ability often but it's an ol' reliable trump card he regularly uses to win arguments or get what he wants though he usually tries every other avenue first and never uses it to take advantage of women.
Personality
Soubi definitely likes the ladies and he flirts incessantly with often little success. He can often be found in the local nightclub The Lounge hunting for someone to spend the night with. He drinks but he can hold his drink well and that often gives him some advantage in this respect.
Soubi's personality is mostly derived from comments and emails i receive from fans as if Soubi is the voice that said it. This tailors his likes and dislikes somewhat into being a very typical and rather bland 40 year old acting like he's in his 20's.
Soubi's behavior is often rather lame and somewhat depressing. He tries to get into things that are trendy and may understand them well but he doesn't fit the bill of the social group they belong to and comes off as somewhat awkward.
He's lazy and irresponsible but gets really into exiting forms of entertainment like sports and to be fair he really knows how to get a party started.
However he may have some outdated and offensive views on some topics.

Background/History
Soubi was born to Xavier and Hanako Petalfeather, two entrepreneurs born into a wealthy family and married to each other to form an alliance between businesses.
They'd always intended to have an heir however Soubi came along rather earlier than intended by accident and the Petalfeathers were forced to raise him in secret.
They therefore invented the excuse that Soubi was in fact the child of one of the inmates in the asylum they owned and often palmed the raising of the child onto staff members.
Later they adapted the story so that Soubi himself was an inmate of the asylum when he came of age and treated him much the same as any other inmate, which was by far less than satisfactory treatment.
Sammu having been arrested for GBH and sent to Petalfeather Holdings came across Soubi Petalfeather in the prison asylum and accidentally almost killed him. Soubi now severely ill Sammu used his crux trick to make Soubi well again however it was at the cost of making Soubi's default form a replica of Sammu's.
After becoming everyone's friend in the prison asylum Sammu and Soubi either escaped or served their term, nobody is really sure which, it was very confusing. Soubi having nowhere to go Sammu took him in and they shared one of John's apartments (apartment 3B) somehow acquiring several other individuals to do so along the way.
Over the years Soubi had slept around a lot and had several periods when he was in a short-lived relationship with different random people. In the case of one Mari Boer, it resulted in a child. However, the relationship fell apart and Mari's child was offered up to adoption without Soubi's consent.
Seeing Soubi distraught by this Sammu used some questionably legal methods to ensure Soubi was able to adopt his own daughter. However by this point Soubi was already married Ruby Claire and the decision to adopt Chamelea was not well received.
Soubi was left with 2 options; a, stay married to Ruby who was pregnant at the time and put Chamelea back into adoption, or b, divorce Ruby and leave her looking after the baby whilst he raised Chamelea. He chose the latter.
However as it turned out Soubi was not cut out to be a parent and left the raising of Chamelea to his friend Sammu. Whether that was wise is up for debate. She was happy and healthy and grew up with a sense of responsibility but her morals became somewhat questionable, almost a carbon copy of how Sammu himself turned out.
Today Soubi still sleeps around but he has gone a lot further towards being a father to Cham. However despite having a deep love for his son Robbie he's done very little in the way of being a father where that child is concerned.
Soubi Ironstone from the Oasis series has exactly the same backstory just with different names. However in Oasis the Ironstones own the local district where the game is set.
Relatives/Family
Soubi's parents are father Xavier (Xavi) and mother Hanako (Hana), both in their 60's, who own a nearby asylum for the criminally insane. Soubi also has a young adult brother called Zachariah (Zack).
Due to the way he was raised Soubi has cut all ties with the Petalfeather family say for retaining their surname.
His family don't know his current location and he'd prefer it to stay that way as would I, the writer of the character, because that's a ginormous can of worms not worth opening.
Although he often sleeps with random people he does in fact have a family, an ex-wife called Ruby Claire and their baby Robbie Pilo. Soubi having little time for responsibilities often does not look forward to encountering them.
It was also revealed that Soubi's adopted daughter Chemelea Harding is in fact his birth daughter from a previous relationship with Mari Boer. Cham was put up for adoption by her mom without Soubi's consent so Soubi adopted her. However he often leaves Sam to raise her.
World/Setting
To all intense purposes the main canon Soubs belongs to is almost a carbon copy of the real world. For that reason Soubi often takes human form in public but around John's apartments where everyone is his friend and knows his secret he can be found in goat form. Similarly when in the club he frequents he may take goat form as long as only him and the fellow members of John's apartments are present, which is often the case.
Soubs can also appear in other canons by using the teleporting door of The HORS Hotel to hop dimensions, in which case the laws of that world apply, apart from anything that changes the Soubs persona into something it's not.
In these kinds of settings it might be normal for anthropomorphic animals to exist so Soubs will take the form of a goat if that's the case.
It's important to remember that Soubs wont suddenly develop forward vision or become a full goat instead of his planarian body even if you want. He is who he is and you gotta just live with that.
Body
Appears to be a mountain goat kid with white fur all over, purple eyes, purple insides (including the mouth), black horns and black hooves.
I say appears because for 1 he's an adult despite his childlike body due to being a physical clone of Sammu who has pituitary dwarfism and also his body itself is rather a bit more complicated than that (see character description).
Soubi's horns are cut short leaving a flat circular end instead of a point like Sammu's horns. This is because Soubi hasn't fully adapted to having horns on his head even after many years and they sometimes knock into things or get caught.
Soubs can use his hooves much like hands and that includes his hind legs. He has 2 digits at the end of the palm and something resembling a thumb on EACH side of the palm. These 'thumbs' become the rubber nubs that goats have behind their hooves when they cross his palm so he CAN walk on them.
Even when quadrupedal Soubs has the same mobility in his shoulders and hips as humans do and can rotate his wrist as much as humans too. However his ankles don't have the same mobility as his wrists.
Soubs is way more comfortable on 2 legs but he can still move around on 4 without difficulty. Despite having grasping feet Soubs rarely uses it without conscious effort to do so. Being human originally its like learning to use an extra limb and he's never really tried to learn how to apply it to any practical situations.
Clothing
Soubs actually has an array of outfits and it's completely plausible for people to draw him in something new in their own canon. However he has a few standard outfits that occur most often.
1, a purple shirt, sometimes drawn with a flower pattern on it and black or very dark grey suit pants.
2, a purple knitted sweater with raised sections making vertical stripes and black sweatpants with a white stripe down only the left leg.
3a & 3b, either the home or away Creetown FC soccer outfit depending on whether they are playing at home or away at that time. Worn when playing soccer (home colors if in the town he lives in or away if playing in another location) or worn when supporting his team when they play in which case the same as the team.
This is particularly interesting as he wears the home colors when in the town he lives in. This suggests the Sammu crew live in Creetown despite the town not resembling it. It could just be Soubi wears it as he feels the apartments are his home however as some sort of metaphor. However many feel that the setting appears to be a seaside town in southern Scotland and Creetown would fit the bill.
It's worth noting that Soubi doesn't wear shoes in his goat form and the pants stop at his ankles which is the backwards pointing bend in his leg. Bare that in mind when drawing him.
His clothes will change their shape somewhat to adapt to his shifting form so that they don't rip or fall down. However this may only apply to his 4 default outfits.
Accessories
Soubi rarely has any items token to him other than the shirt on his back or the girl on his arm.
He does however still use a leather wallet despite having a smart phone with contactless payments because he says he doesn't trust wireless connected devices to keep his bank details secure enough.
